Hi Leah, great thanks4 ur tutorials, they are simple, great, and what in my opinion is the most important - quickly. i dont need to waste my time on UTube videos, to see 5 lines of code. If U really have 15 y.o U are the best girl, which who i have pleasure to know about ;p
uggh I am updating the dimension tutorial as of right now, be patient..
btw how would all the inexperienced modders like to have an API that helps them learn in a way, and make modding more easier...

I would say, yes. The more learning the better.
Modding Minecraft has evolved from only having to add a new block and item to the game and calling it a mod, to creating a suite of complete game altering mods with modules and new content every week. This is a daunting undertaking...
Anywho! I'm getting at the fact that there is a lot more to know now, and following tutorials is a good way to learn, but copying and pasting the last page of the tutorial isn't helping anyone. The reason I mention this is because I've seen a lot of people's comments asking questions that the tutorials specifically outline. #LazyModderPwn
An API would be interesting. What did you have in mind? I'm also interested in the Dimension tutorial, but I've almost got it figured out I think, and I was planning on doing one when I'm done

Learn some Java before you mod, and skip over the chapter on ModLoader, straight to MinecraftForge. It's better. Trust me.
just things that people struggle with, made into simpler things I.E I struggle(d) with the server side mods, so maybe we can make things easier on people by providing some basic-intermediate methods to help, and people can also read and see how it really works. Just some minor-major things like that, would be included, which it wouldn't be a separate download for people installing the mod, all the people that use it have to do is package it along with the mod, but the src would have to be a separate download, plus people can modify at will.
I've received a bunch of PM's about the LazyModderPwn I did earlier and I apologize. Apparently some people do read and still don't understand. Although I am apologizing I will still say that a modder's forum posts aren't places to learn Java. They are reference materials specifically for modding minecraft. I am providing this link to YouTube for those that wish to broaden their Java knowledge before taking on the task of making changes to a program that they didn't write themselves. These videos have helped me a great deal in understanding the basics of Java that most modders find trivial. BTW Asyncronous/Leah I hope you take no offense to this as I mean none to be given. And I'll stop adding flames in your post. Keep up the good work.
look out tomorrow for the dimension tut I have some stuff to do right now, but if I get some time then I might get it done tonight. I have also extended the date on when I am officially going to decide the current state of the tutorials to Friday, the 8th I think..
So basically I guess this is how its supposed to go: Ill release a tutorial every few days that is moderately done, and the first one you want me to do is structure generation, am I correct?
But I have decided to make the tutorials on minecraftforgetuts.weebly.com and post a link to each specific tutorial here. Sorry for those who voted for something else and decide to rage on me for that....
But I have a dead weekend and Im in a slump so I am going to mod until I drop
