the blue screen thing didn't work. my chunk loading is on default and still doesn't work any one know another possible issue?

you need to turn custom colours ON in optifine. Try that

you did not install the shaders correctly. Your seeing purple because thats what the texturepacks custom colour is. This happend to me also. you have to reinstall the shaders and pay extra attebtion to installing with installer.exe
when the installer finishes, click the "view log" button and look at the log.
look for anything that says "INSTALLATION FAILED" or "ERROR OCCURED"
if you see that, run the installer as administartor, and keep trying.
i had to try about 15 times before it went through.
The right optifine version is required (latest)

This blue screen thing was driving me nutts!! I know this post hasn't been updated in a while but if any other poor saps stumble upon this post after rigorous hours of Google searching, then let me giv you the answer to you Minecraft "blues"... pause for drama...
the shader files you installed into your "shaderpacks" are probably a .zip file because everything else you put in minecraft is a .zip file... !

UNZIP THEM!

Every time I use the shaders, I get these white boxes around items and black parts on random things (e.g. arrows, armour, parts of animals and players)
