But,how can I get multiple .jars and istall them to see the capes from others too on SMP
Sorry for double post
Well in your %appdata% file is a .minecraft etc if you send your jar to your friends they will be able to see your cape :biggrin.gif: so yes it works on SMP
So let me get this straight... it looks up a cape using your username... does that allow you to create capes for your friends or have them upload their own capes?
First, open your thing you use to code: Netbeans, Eclipse, Notepad++, etc.
Next, Locate EntityPlayer.Java
Then, CTRL + F, and search this "public void updateCloak()"
After That, you'll see all of this:
Then, you will want to use an item called Dropbox, If you don't have a Dropbox account sign-up for one here:
DropBox Sign-Up
Now, you will want to create your cape...Here is mine:
Now, since you made your cape, put your cape in your Dropbox 'PUBLIC' Folder
Then, go to dropbox.com again and find your cape in the public folder:
Now, take your dropbox download link:
And do this to it:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/49282190/DJ___PON3.png < Original link
Cut out the Username.png part
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/49282190/ < Now it looks like this
Then put your link in Eclipse (Or any other coding application)
Comment this out: http://s3.amazonaws.com/MinecraftCloaks/
And replace: http://s3.amazonaws.com/MinecraftCloaks/ With: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/49282190/
Then go and test it out, and enjoy your brand new cape :biggrin.gif:
:biggrin.gif: + rep FTW :biggrin.gif:
Only you will see and if you give your friends the .jar they will see it too good day my fellow brony :smile.gif:
Only you will see your cape so yes it does!
