Also I want to say, I finally fixed the block sprite error. It had nothing to do with forge, but all to do with my laziness and stupidity!!!
If you get a block with nothing on it but white and a black line or dot somewhere along the block, try remaking your sprite sheets. Believe me, it works wonder.
I want to thank everyone who helped or even attempted to help me in my "quest" to finding the answer to this ridiculously easy problem.
public static Item Raspp = new Item(31006).setIconCoord(0, 0).setItemName("Raspberry");
public static Item Strawbb = new Item(31007).setIconCoord(0, 1).setItemName("Strawberry");
it should be
public static Item Raspp = new ItemRaspp(31006).setIconCoord(0, 0).setItemName("Raspberry");
public static Item Strawbb = new ItemRaspp(31007).setIconCoord(0, 1).setItemName("Strawberry");
One was done by Strengthowns (see first post) but I might contribute one for these tutorials if you want?
Edit: Also any news on the MCForge Ore Dictionary Tutorial :smile.gif:
Edit 2: Oh, And I'll contribute some general modloader tutorials also theres an easier way of doing armor by combining mcforge and modloader hooks mcforge alone makes you have a class for all armors and is more complicated IMO.
he's asking for a whole new texture
ummm...no promises on ore tut (why do you want so bad?)
yeah i know that way but with mcforge you set ur image file to any name and place
i'm going to be gone for a week starting tomorrow :smile.gif:
I have another problem. ( I know! I've had enough already!)
When adding armor my armor isn't wearable for some odd reason. I try to put it in the slots, but it refuses. I used the same way that CamelOre uses. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
make sure that your armor file extends ItemArmor
that's what makes it wearable
you can see this in SlotArmor or something like that but just make sure it extends ItemArmor
Shame
I really enjoy your "troubleshooting" service.
I'll miss you!2 completely irrelevant questions:
1. How do you make a table of contents on the forum page?
2. How to you get the forum page to resize images for you?

and georgeri i'm sorry about the ore dictionary tutorial but you can see some examples of how it's used on page 80 and 81 on the official mcforge thread
Now I can add redstone!

I'm pretty sure I did though. You're probably right though, my stupid mistakes have no end!
And you won't be on at all for a whole week?

And because I really love these tutorials:
Thanks a lot!
1. Put
and
2.it automatically does it
I've been trying to find that forever!
How do I make it extend "ItemArmor" without it giving me an error with "super(i)"?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
