Hey im really wanting to get into the actual creating of mods and wanted to know how to start. I know a experience in Java is needed so wondering of anybody knows of any good sites or videos that can help learn java. If you could help I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks guys ill take a look at em. And should I try to learn Java first or is it possible to just jump straight into modding without it being to terribly difficult?
Check out HowNot2Play's . its really useful since you actuall y can write the code along with him. as well as him explaining some of it. also use notepadd ++ until you can read the debugger- itll force you to re read your code and learn the correct formatting. when you get better- you may if you want (like i did) to use the lazier method of eclipse which checks your code as you write i.
