I know you said not to, :unsure.gif: , but I nee to know what this means, Cause I am a noob at modding.
I think this means I need the texture, but I don't know where the texture goes. :blink.gif:

There's a tutorial on how to add textures, look at it.
Hey can you please consider making a tutorial on creating a exploding block like TNT? I would realy appreciate it if you would! +1 for all the tutorials!!
I'll look into it later. How to get explosions with blocks and items, maybe?
I changed the ID to 249 and the item to craft with to sand but still no luck. Maybe the problem lies with how Im trying to test it. I recompile in the MCP folder then run start client.
Try changing
public static Item scarecrow;
static
{
scarecrow = (new ItemScarecrow (1200)).setItemName("Scarecrow");
}
public static Block scarecrowblock;
static{
scarecrowblock = new BlockScarecrow(251, 0, Material.cloth).setHardness(0.3f).setResistance(2f).setBlockName("scarecrowblock");
}
to
public static Item scarecrow;
public static Block scarecrowblock;
static
{
scarecrow = (new ItemScarecrow (1200)).setItemName("Scarecrow");
scarecrowblock = new BlockScarecrow(251, 0, Material.cloth).setHardness(0.3f).setResistance(2f).setBlockName("scarecrowblock");
}
I copied It from your "Adding a basic Block", The 2nd code in it. The file that in the example is called "mod_Lantern".
I'm just gonna test the rest (Or at least some) Of your tutorials to see if they work.
Also, Hope you add one On Npc's cause since 1.0.0 I can't get my Npc mod to work. (items do work, Npc doesn't)

I'll fix that when I get the chance. I didn't really mod much after 1.8, until now, so the tutorials are kind of messed up still. I haven't went through everything to make sure it worked.
I never made NPC's, but I have made mobs, but they've been messed up since 1.8 :/

Yeah, 1.8.1 did mess them up, oh, and by the way, I don't use eclipse, Because I couldn't get it set up :sad.gif: So I use Editrocket. Which is fine for me.

I use to use EditRocket, but then the trial ran out XD
I don't know why the Eclipse one wasn't working for some people. I re-set it up as I made the tutorial and it worked fine for me D:

I found A youtube video with a code. The codes can be used as many times as possible. XD
If you want I found a code too O.O
And you should have said "I used to use Editrocket, But then I took An arrow to the Knee"!
I edited this like 5 times XD
Best I can do is, do you have mod_Bottle, and is there a "bottle" in it?
Either you're missing bottle, you meant Bottle, or you meant mod_WatterBottle and you're missing the plain bottle.
Hey Muserae! I'm loving your tutorials, they are helping me out a lot. :smile.gif:
But I need some help. I'm trying to modify some existing mods to add a little personal touch to them. One of these is the famous Rei's Minimap. After everything is setup in Eclipse, instead of making my own class's I just drag in classes from Rei's Minimap. (Note that I did use JD GUI to get the .java's.) Eclipse just throws a lot of unpleasant errors. I hope you can help me out, I've spent all my free-time this weekend trying to get this to work.
Thanks in advance!

I Use Editrocket, Can't help. But of course, I'm not the one giving tutorials.

You want to open your MCP folder, use the cleanup.bat. Once you do that, open the jars folder and then bin, and install the map to the MCP Minecraft. Then you want to decompile it, and all the codes will be converted into .java so you can edit and it should fix any errors. If you have the required mods installed also.
That cleaned up my code a little bit but still no luck. I just don't get it, it doesn't give me any errors or anything and I've double checked my code with yours but it just refuses to work.
Took another peak at the crafting recipe, noticed that you don't have a space in (mod_AttractiveScarecrow.whatever,1)

I think I got it fixed. There were two extra things ModLoader required in v1.0, but I forgot to add that in some of the mod_ templates.
Oh thank you!
And also, does my second error mean I need the Image? If it does where does it go?
I think this means I need the texture, but I don't know where the texture goes. :blink.gif:

Oh :mellow.gif: I don't think I can look any more stupid than I already do. Still, Thanks!

1)I think block ID's can only go to 250?
2)Could be the wrong pumpkin?
