Firstly, this thread is a MAPPING TUTORIAL. This is MAPPING and modding.
Anyway, on to the juicy bits: I have discovered the ultimate way for SAFELY setting off TNT
I call it Directed Exploding.
You need some explosion-proof blocks and of course explosive blocks.
You can make it face any direction.(left/right,forward/back, up, and in some cases down.)
You can even stand behind the center of the blast (behind the shield).
Start by making a 3x3 wall/platform.
Then add a second layer but leave the center empty for the TNT.(If blasting down, use a catch block to hold the TNT.
Best of all, MINIMUM NATURAL DAMAGE.
Video tomorrow.
Well good sir, I trust you may have been playing for months now right?
Well it's for t3h n00bz out there who bought Minecraft just yesterday.
How are they gonna know how redstone, cannons, and traps work?
Thnx above poster,
Anyway, it may seem obvious, but not very many people realize the applications it has.
eg. Houseblaster, Minecracker, Lifter, and my favourite, Hidden Trap.
