Ok so i have been doing this and now i think i am prettyz good at it but i have 2 things one it has started prefectly with all my mods then when i added a ignot.png it started freezeing so i undownloaded it and now all my mods work execpt the makemyitem so it keeps on crashing. Also I am trying to make the png look the same as other ignots but its to big then to small and i cant find the perfect one please send me a private message if you know how to fix this problem or how to make the ignot the same size thank u

its called Death pick btw and i have the png in the required folder in the jar triman
It will check if I have fuel before it uses the tool but it gives me the chunks for all the ores at the same time(It uses the correct amount of fuel however).
Items can use any ID that is not in use.
Make sure that the .item file is in %AppData%/.minecraft/mod/items

The reason it doesn't work is because the highest speed for any given pick is 10, and you cannot go past 10. 13 won't work.
1. Yes just save it as a .item file, make sure you can see file extensions as well.

Just input the code for the milk bucket and the bucket shouldn't be consumed. If it is then experiment with it.

Make sure you set the canvas size to 16x16 pixels. If you cannot do this tell me the color of the ingot and I'll make it for you.

I've just made an item called Red Coal, and it is used as a stronger fuel than normal coal, but when I place it in the furnace, it doesn't work at all. Then, whenever I try to use the Red Coal in a furnace, I can't get any type of fuel to work, until I break the furnace and replace it. Can anyone help me out?

To get rid of the white background from the item, you must erase the white around the item using a program that supports transparency. Here's a great free program that is capable: http://www.gimp.org/

I got it to work, but i have another problem, my Fire Axe is supposed to place fire when i right click, like with flint and steel, but instead of placing a block, it replaces the block that im looking at
