Alright, to do this, remove the file inside the .zip file and place that on your desktop.
Edit that to your hearts content, then make that folder's Contents(As in not the folder itself) a zip file.
Put that in the texturepacks folder and bam :biggrin.gif:
That barely made sense.
Do you mean?
1. Remove [TPSK.zip] files on desktop
2. Edit the TPSK files (Armor, Terrain, GUI, etc.)
3. Then make those files into a [.zip] file
4. Place that [.zip] file into (C:\...\.minecraft\texturepacks)
I just wanted to give you a bump for being so awesome and making this, I also put a link to this thread on my DragonCraft thread! YOU ARE AWESOME!!! THANK YOU AGAIN!!
To be honest, the pixel art for making a texture pack didn't bother me, it was getting it zipped up and ready for people to use, this has saved my life! Thank you once again!!!
Really like the kit, would be great to see an update for beta!!!
Indeed it would, Ive already completely redone my first texture kit and loaded it only to find birch trees, ink sacks, colored wool etc to be... purple cubes...
is it possible to just take an existing 32x32 texture pack and use it as a template andj ust edit all the pngs within it and change the names etc etc ?
Here's the download for the texture kit itself.
Tutorial:
Step 1:
First, remove the folder named TextureKit from TextureKit.zip and put it somewhere you can find it.
Now, just open up the folder and make your texture...
Step2: Turning your folder into a zip file.
Put all the contents of your folder into a fresh new zip file.
Step3: Put the new zip folder into your texturepacks file and enjoy!
Or do I have to make a folder inside (C:\...\.minecraft\texturepacks) and then paste the 'Texture Pack Starter Kit' files in there?
Edit that to your hearts content, then make that folder's Contents(As in not the folder itself) a zip file.
Put that in the texturepacks folder and bam :biggrin.gif:
