Its all good, BUT i'm trying to mod a server. (I have Bukkit) I'm trying out the minecraft_server.jar UNZIPPED IT, Moded it, .jar'ed it. Wouldent work. Tried your way, Still won't work

i cant even get my minecraft.jar to turn into a folder...

how do i do that?

using the archive utility doesnt do anything but make it into a zip file.

its a never ending cirlce of either being a .zip or .jar

i cant make either turn to a folder

you don't need to repack your jar for minecraft to run just put a .jar extension on the folder

...or you could just use 7-zip and just drak the files in the jar

(myjarexplorer doesnt work on mc files!)

I'm a modder but i don't get this 1 step is how to open the working minecraft.jar and every time i try to change the .jar into a .zip it changes it into a .cpmg or something

I don't know where to say this for sure... but how can I open it at all in the first place? I have no right click on my Mac, it's just one big button, and you move your finger to scroll.

Is there a way to make minecraft.jar into a folder without using any applications?
