TO ANYONE WHO DOESN'T KNOW:
THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO SHOULD BE ON THE SERVER RIGHT NOW ARE BUILDERS, WHO WILL LAY THE BASIC FRAMEWORK FOR THE ARENA.
BETA TESTERS AND GENIUSES ARE NOT NEEDED UNTIL WE ARE FURTHER ALONG IN THE PROGRESS.
LAY A FRAMEWORK OF 40 length, 40 width, and 40 height. Make several of these boxes and at the end of each one, lay a box that is 10length, 10 width, and 20 height. This will be a saferoom.
await further instructions; I can't get on the server until I get home to the computer I have minecraft installed. damn you hotel!!!
sorry for posting like this, but as we get closer and closer to actually decking this project out, I'm going to lay down a few basic rule-ish things...
BTW, if you are not subscribed to this topic please do so now. Also, you are not required to have the Tactical Thinking Arena banner, but it does help.
1.TARDINESS/FAILURE TO PARTICIPATE.
If you are consistently tardy or too busy to help us out on the schedule we decide on, you may be dropped.
2.BEING A LITTLE BABBY.
Excessive swearing, whining or anything like that may get you dropped.
If you are asked to tear down a structure and rebuild it, or anything like that, please do so. If not you may be dropped. This also goes with getting a mod; if you are asked to obtain the zombe mod pack to be a more efficient builder, it should go without saying you should.
In the future, if you do not plan on building anything else with Team G-Tac, please do the right thing and say so rather than just fading out.
That's it. If we're all mature about this, no one will have to be dropped and we will succeed in making a kick ass adventure map. :smile.gif:
here is an official list of the team.
I will PM each staff member, and you need to PM me back to confirm you're in. everyone that is in will have an X next to their username.
guys, to clarify: not all builders will be using worldedit. we will be working a lot on INTRICATE detail such as laying down appropriate lighting, carrying out the orders of the piston and redstone genius, laying stairways, and making small corridors, etc.
Let me just quickly hop in here, I think it would be best if everyone says what time in the same time zone for example GMT so lastclockmaker doesnt havent to recalculate every single timezone because imagine 15 people saying 4-8pm in all a different timezone, that'd be a lot of work to sum that up.
Then I should be saying (and others should be too) 8PM-12AM GMT (4PM-8PM EST) on weekdays and 4PM-12AM GMT (12PM-8PM EST) on weekends
(Just say the time in GMT then your own timezone in parentheses)
