You could look into Colocation plans, you buy a whole server and send it to them and they put it in a datacenter. You pay a fixed price per month and you get a set amount of bandwidth and internet speeds.

I'm not quite sure what you mean with co-location. My PC itself could run like maybe 10 players (Also getting SSD today) but I got so slow upload speed. My PC specs are as following if anyone's interested:
AMD Phenom II X4 940 @3,4GHz OC
4x2GB DDR2 800MHz
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 7200rpm SATA (I'm changing this to OCZ Vertex 2 - 60GB 2.5" SSD SATA)
Dule, affliate ID 002, eh? Will take a look too though, I'll ask them to run that I/O test.
Again, 123systems is popping in my mind. Cheap but average, but hey, that's what you get. Hetzner is cheap considering it's high-end dedicated for similar prices to VPS.
Like I've said in my previous posts, I will eventually switch to AllGamer to Hetzner.
EDIT: Meh, I could try 123systems for a month, 2GB plan.
What bad experience did you have with us? (MyMCServ), I cannot remember you.
Well that was the time of dcharm, Murpo was on live chat and you took over. I didn't have access to backend at that time as co-owner and FTP wasn't set up, so basically almost nobody had control over the server. Dcharm is still missing and the payment ended. Murpo was the only one installing custom plugins too and I heard he's leaving.
We want it unmanaged. Able to add plugins and do all kinds of modifications without support tickets. And for the fact that you're at least 20 hours online in livechat, probably not, most of the time offline or away.
Personally i would go with hosts that have been around for along time, rather than resellers. Like more people are.
Look for a company that owns a portion of a data center like SoftLayer and FutureHost those 2 companies own multiple data centers. Also look for companies that resell Internap data center VPS and dedicated as Internap don't sell individual servers.

For co-location
First - you just buy a 1U rack server http://www.geeks.com/products.asp?cat=SVR < this has some
Then you set up the colocation plan with a place like this http://iweb.com/colocation/single-server/
And that place allows you to ship the server to them. You pay monthly and they give you power, bandwidth, and a spot on a rack.

@Juze I'm not leaving mymcserv. Never said that :wink.gif:
Ah okay. Well I'm on a one-month try for 123systems, everything is great so far. :smile.gif: And what's the best, the community of my server paid it. Awesome people, huh? They donated me 35€ (one offered 50€ and others wanted to donate more but I declined). Such lovely.
Only thing is that I still can't have monsters enabled, they would lag the server quite bit.
Monsters make the server lag just about no matter what, so you can't pin that on 123. Glad it's working out for you so far.

Not very difficult with 123systems, I have a friend who knows a lot of SSH and we figured it out together in a day. We use Debian 64bit.
We also reached 20 players today on 2GB plan and had no lag at all, never experienced any lag on this host. I'm still looking forward to test out AllGamer though. :wink.gif:
So, I ran in trouble with 123systems, and need another host again. AllGamer for $70 a month is a bit too much? Any suggestions?
Please feel free to try our services Juze, if your not happy after 3 days you can have a full refund. We don't overcrowd our servers and I'm certain you'll have a great experience if you give us a shot.

I'll pretty surely give your 1,5GB or 2GB plan a try. Our server is hosted purely on community donations so far. :smile.gif:
I believe AllGamer had or still has a 3 day trial, but AllGamer price can be compared to something that you can unleash a dedicated server for (Hetzner.de).
I'll pretty surely give your 1,5GB or 2GB plan a try. Our server is hosted purely on community donations so far. :smile.gif:
We'd love to have you aboard, as I said, if your not satisfied you can have your money back after 3 days. But we'll make sure you get what you pay performance wise!

Oh, and hey, could you perform that 1GB copy test to see your I/O speed?
Try one of our Xen plans when they come instock? Then you know its not oversold?
Again, I didn't have that great customer experience with you, and again, preferrably an unmanaged server. Though I don't know about Dave's, his host is managed too though? Unless Dave makes an exception? :smile.gif:

Here you are Juze:
[root@xxx ~]# dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=64k count=16k conv=fdatasync
16384+0 records in
16384+0 records out
1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 12.917 seconds, 83.1 MB/s

16384+0 records in
16384+0 records out
1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 13.1317 seconds, 81.8 MB/s
Those are from the two servers you would be placed on. We'd probably put you on the first one. Bear in mind it's Saturday so things are very busy on the servers right now :smile.gif:
