THEPERFECTMATCH 50% off webhosting for as long as you have a gameserver with us (any duration)
We're the new kid on the block,Global7Hosting GP and we hold strong beliefs that too many other companies have been sacrificing high up-times and fast hosting in exchange for cheaper running costs and therefore lower prices. We've been providing premium website hosting and dedicated servers for over three years now and thus decided that gameservers were the next logical step.Three years ago, we took a step back and realized that some competing web hosting providers were almost exclusively advertising affordability. As of September 2010, G7Hset out to cater for those who need the high end, large traffic and highly reliable servers. To this day, we're proud to announce that we've maintained 99.8% uptime across our network.
Instead of squeezing every penny, we put the majority of our time into providing a service that won't let you down. It's that same consistent, high quality level of service that we've applied to all our Java-based game servers since we began, which makes us slightly different from the rest.
We now host servers in both the United States (central and eastern) as well as in the United Kingdom.Running on the latest hardware and awesomesauce, you can be assured that our custom server-side software will make the best use of shared instances. Our family of nodes for Minecraft are usually comprised of:
An Intel E3-1230v2
16gb RAM
Samsung 840 Pro Series SSDs
With 1000Mbps uplinks
Multi-homed BGP (NLayer, PacketExchange, Telia, Zayo and HE.net)
SOC 2 Type II and SOC 3 datacenters
This list is boring

Yes the coupon works on all Minecraft packages that we provide. I am wondering if you could tell me how many players you wish to host. Then I could tell you which package would be best for you.
Yes, Orcworm has it correct about the way dedicated IPs work. Just to note, all packages do come with a dedicated IP. It would not matter which one you would order.
I was thinking about hosting package names for Minecraft and how it usually works with most hosts. Most hosts on this forum use the minerals in Minecraft. Do you think hosts should start trying to think of new ideas for their hosting package names?

To access FTP for your Minecraft server, you would take your Multicraft username add .6 to the end of it. Once that is done, use an FTP client (Filezilla) with your server IP, your Multicraft username with .6 and your password to login. Remember it is the default FTP (21). Do you think that having the .6 at the end of all usernames for FTP will cause problems for some people?
Due to popular request, our new 'Obsidian' package has been released early. Everything that everyone else has, but 4444mb of RAM and 140gb HDD space.
SQlite databases are available for free with every order. (They work better with Minecraft than MySQL does)
We've also updated the thread with some more details on Multicraft and features.

Hey guys, is Bukkitmod stable yet?
Yes, the new version of BUKKIT has now been added to the Multicraft control panel. Just go there and click to update. Remember, if you have any problems, you can just contact our support team and we'll get right on it. I hope you coped without BUKKIT for a few days D':
To the above two posts: (I would quote you but it would use up a lot of space ;D)
It's always great to get feedback from our clients (be it negative or positive) and this is no acception. On behalf of the team here, may I say thank you to you both for taking out the time to write the above.
Although we are grateful that these reviews are generally positive, I have read both in detail and have realised that we're still not perfect. We accept nothing but the best and so it has been noted that:
- More information needs to be given about login details.and access. We're in the proccess of thinking about how we can easily communicate this information to you
- We shall soon be thinking about recruiting some more, Minecraft-specific support staff
- Billing panel (WHMCS) and Multicraft need to be more intergrated. We'll be speaking to the developers about new WHMCS modules that should be available soon
Thanks again for your time guys and we hope you are happy with everything so far overall.
Can your 532mb servers really hold 26 people without lagging?
In theory, yes. In reality, no.
I probably don't need to tell someone as experienced as you on MCF that it depends almost entirely upon what people are doing within the world. If everyone is just running around and not mining, then you could easily support 26 players. If everyone was mining regularly then 20-22 players should be able to play with no lag.
The problem that most people face is that Operators love to spawn resources and make huge projects. This constant destruction and replacement of blocks puts a large amount of stress on the server, and in most cases you can expect to get around 18-20 players on if a few are spawning blocks and building it big.
If everyone is trying to build huge structures, then you can probably expect around 14 players to play without lag.
We base our estimations on vanilla survival with no PvP, if you're looking to host some sort of roleplay or RPG plugin, then it would be intelligent to aim to get around 20-35% more slots than you actually want.
