remember; chances are, if you ask for minecon in the closest city to your house, it won't happen. Especially if that city isn't too large. For example, don't suggest Key West, FL, Topeka, KS, Bridgeport, CT, Buffalo, NY, Sacremento, CA, etc. and expect it has a chance for any minecon until minecon 2020, if they are still having minecons then.

A flight to Australia is hugely expensive. Especially if you live near Sweden or the same latitude/distance. I'm sure most people can't afford to take round trip flights from Europe for $1,000 USD just for flight, to Australia.
From Sweden to Australia is 9,000 miles.
From Sweden to Florida it was just half that.
Paying for staff to fly there and book hotels would be a nightmare if you think about it. Then the people who want to go there have to fork up much more money and will want something worthwhile there to do. I just don't think it's very economical and entertaining enough to have it in Australia, sorry to say, but it's an educated opinion.
I think the best option is to have it in the UK or something like that. Considering I live in the United States and the total trip cost is that of a flight to Australia. Yes, that includes room and flight. It also had their own regional convention/event (from what I heard). Which kinda shows they could amass enough fans and people willing to travel there.

Well i agree but if not around australia or england where??
It might come back to eu for how mincon works:
US,EU,US.....
But i dont think it will do that the 2 most popular choises are england or australia
CHOOSE!!
It should be in Australia,Brisbane. Reason: There are sooo many Minecraft lovers in Brisbane and it would be better to have one outside the U.S.A. Don't you think?

Well, most of us in the Asia Pacific region have been waiting for the past 3 minecon conventions to be held somewhere near us, because as you said, it is not economically viable to travel from Asia to UK/US just for a convention and back. It would really be unfair for those of us around the Asia Pacific region. I'm pretty sure Mojang staff have the money to travel to and fro to the Asia Pacific region.
Vancouver, Canada. It only makes sense since it was already in Europe and was even a bigger hit in Orlando. In all honesty they should remain close to the North American region. Or maybe host two conventions in one year giving more people a chance to attend this event.
I think England. Or, just, any country of the UK. I feel like the UK is a prime location as Minecraft is very popular there. And I'm not just suggesting this cause I'm close to the UK... cause I live in America.
