Well, knock on wood, you had a very nice costume yourself, sonic (insert sarcastic claps at failed pun). But why did you leave it in the convention hallway? I even saw it being dismantled and tried to stop it.

It wasn't really meant to come back home anyways. We left it to Mojang and hoped it would find a better home or something
It makes me happy to know you liked my costume enough to try to save it from being dismantled. Thanks for that =)
I loved the tree. Your mom did not seem to want to bring it back hehe!
No one managed to steal a rod, but right after I left the stage one of the wires came out so I was one rod down after the contest! And sadly the costume got a bit beaten up throughout the day. It looked better in the beginning.
Sadly, some attendees walked off with it, along with a ton of stuff they shouldn't have been walking out with.
I saw lots of people walking off with stuff, but after Minemon 2012 they where actually giving parts of the set away, and encouraging people to take it, so i assumed it was going to be the same

Hey! I was the roadie/assistant for the Wither Boss family. I know them personally and helped them with seeing/carrying their stuff/walking/breathing all day long. They brought the thing through TSA and on the plane all the way from New Hampshire
I really loved your costumes, guys. Everyone who made a costume and was brave enough to show it off to hundreds of thousands of people (including the livestream watchers) deserves a big amount of respect.
I wasn't actually in the costume contest - I was the Volunteer helping you all on and off the stage!
Well done to all the entrants, your costumes were amazing, some of which I was very surprised didn't get in to the final, but sadly I wasn't on the judging panel!
Well done to all of you for entering and being so creative, and congratulations to all the winners!

Wow! I flew in from New Hampshire and saw a couple Minecraft families on the way there and on the return trip, but absolutely did not see a Wither in the airport!
I was there in my minecon in my steve outfit, I remember chatting with the Craft Punk guy during the contest.Lol I was wearing my phone inside the face of my costume so I wasnt able to take a single picture of myself, I have had to scour the interwebs to find some.
Thanks big time to the volunteers, especially the two who managed to get me on stage during the costume contest last minute
You want to keep any eye out anyone trying to steal your rods for fuel
I don't want to give it away but lets just say my costume really lights up!
I still think your costume was pretty awesome.
