you dont get what i said do you?
there were just so many fake sites that it took me an hour and an email to mojang to find the real one
so just saying just to go to the official site wont help
"minecon 2013"
Second result is the official, first result is a story pointing you towards it. It's been that way for months. I don't get how someone could miss the site? Even if we type "minecon" you get the official sites at the top. Let this be a tip for you next time when you're booking an event of some sort.
Uhhh... I agree with the other people above me about checking the official Mojang website. Yes, it would have been helpful because Lydia Winters posted about Minecon 2013 tickets for sale on July 31, 2013 right smack on the MAIN page of Mojang.com and if you had read her post you would have seen this quote:
" Visit minecon.mojang.com to book! Tickets are $150 each, 3yo and under get in for free and don’t need a ticket! "
Also, I don't know how you found fake sites selling Minecon tickets but I just did a Google search for "Minecon" ... and guess what? There were zero fake sites selling Minecon tickets on the first page of results. You got a right to be upset about not being able to go to Minecon but I really don't think it's fair to be making up excuses because things didn't turn out the way you want them to be.
Something as simple as checking the actual Minecon site would have saved some grief (no pun intended). Also tickets were sold out in 30 minutes when I was testing the 2nd and 3rd batches out.
Yeah I checked for the lulz and it was about 30 minutes, not 3 seconds.
I cant log in to my mojang account. I have been trying for the last two months and everytime i try it says that it cant find my account.
someone please help

I did see somewhere that the tickets kids bought for their parents might be going back on sale. That's pretty much your only hope man I don't have tickets either, because I couldn't afford airfare from Connecticut. Damn planes!
Honestly, Going to minecon isn't worth it, it's probally crowded and all you get is a cape.
P.S: I try to hunt down people with minecon capes in PVP.
Are you really being honest here? Have you ever attended a Minecon? Because from the words you used, it sounds like you've never been to Minecon. If that's the case then how can you judge whether or not attending Minecon is worth it?
Yeah, that is really bad. I don't want to go to minecon (unless for some reason, they decide to host in California), but I do see your point. Mojang needs to step it up with their validations. Next year, I'm sure they will choose a much bigger venue and sell MANY more tickets. Perhaps not in Florida, but you should keep saving up. Maybe you'll have enough money to reach across the world in a year
Orance County Convention Center, 2nd biggest in the US, first was in Illinois. Bigger venue options aren't really out there, please do research.
