First off, I want to say that I feel sorry for everyone who wanted to go to minecon, but couldn't because of the tickets selling out very quickly. I have tried to get into some events myself where the same situation that you have had caused a problem for me. Some of your parents may have promised you tickets. It was very tough to get them, believe me. I was one of the lucky ones in that first batch. I've noticed that a petition has been started on a website that asks Mojang to sell tickets at the door, due to Eventbrite not loading, and this made tickets almost impossible to get. Again, I understand. but as Mojang said, tens of thousands of people could show up, and the tickets will sell out before the next 3,000 can get to the entrance. If you are one of those 3,000 people, you would be in a worse position then you would be in at the time I am writing this. If you are a parent, you would be back here; no ticket, although you were promised one. Also, you would have flown all the way down to Florida just be standing at the OCCC, empty-handed. You would have already booked a hotel room, and you have already flown to Florida, which costed 300 dollars or more. You would have a big hole in your pocket (metaphorically speaking), and you couldn't get into Minecon after all that. But let's say that you were able to get in with a ticket at the door. Well, you would be getting to see all of these panelists and developers, but Minecon would be horribly crowded. Keep in mind, we are talking about the West Building, not the entire Convention Center itself. You would be squeezed in with the rest of the crowd, and I've already heard that Minecon has been very crowded from people who have been before. So, it would not be as good as an experience for both sides. But on the bright side, even if you didn't get in, The OCCC is between Disney World and Universal Studios, and SeaWorld is right by it!
So tell me, can you wait for Minecon? Did you get a ticket?
Post below! We will have to wait until the event itself to see what happens!
It won't happen, they can't they would violate some laws and could end up in big troubles if they tried to squeeze more than 7500 persons they could face so much troubles you don't want to see Mojang going bankrupt just for the sake of getting a ticket for the Minecon do you ???

Did you read the whole thing? I was talking about how they shouldn't be sold at the door.
I was actually fixing to post a new thread making some of the suggestions of instead of going to Minecon, go to Disenyland, Go to seaworld, Universal park, or heck, just spend a couple days at the flipping beach. Go camping in the glades, Minecon's ticket disaster isnt the apocalypse. Make the best out of a $300 trip to Florida.Minecon or no Minecon

Yup I've read the whole thing, but just in case many people don't read the OP on many forums so sometimes its a good idea to have the same text in a couple of places in the same thread, but even there's some nasty people that won't even read anything and just complaint and all...
Just hope to be able to see the livestream after the event, I'll be there and curious to see if I can spot myself in a video, but I guess they're not filming the crowds too much judging by the clips I can find from last year in Paris...

If you're not going, don't forget that they're livestreaming much of the event, and there is also a Minecon Server Edition!
