I seriously doubt the tickets were "sold-out" in anything less than 2 hours. They simply cannot sell tickets (or "Claim" tickets) faster than it takes to process the transactions. There are numerous stories of people getting their tickets after being in the "pending" state for 90 minutes or more. When you find yourself in the "Pending" state, just keep refreshing- don't quit until the site actually says "Sold Out," and THEN they are truly sold out. Before that happens, you are basically in a queue, burning your way down to the front through successive refreshes. Also- it is probably actually a BAD idea having multiple computers going, multiple pages. All of those computers in your house use the same router, with the same single IP address, with only so much bandwidth. It is more effective to work one computer, one screen, HARD, until you get your tickets. Involving other computers (and other people (kids)) is likely to lead to acute dissapointment.
How fast did the second batch of MineCon tickets sell out?
