You act so smart and yet do not realize what people are really asking: People want to know this means in terms of the game.
Will the game actually do something if I type "I hate minecraft" into the chat, is this referring to the mod API, or is it simply a joke.
This is what I believe people are asking anyway, and it's what I'm asking. I know the meaning of the word; it takes somewhere less than an elementary reading level to comprehend it.
Knowing Sach, it's a joke. He'd explain it more if it meant something.
And besides, you have to admit, it kinda does look like people are asking what "sentience" means when you see how they're not explaining their questions very well.

Yeah, but he has left vague hints before for the sake of 'find it for yourself'.
When you're on a site where people of many languages and ages congregate, you have to learn to think in context and extract information that may not be so forthcoming, and that's what I was trying to do... Still, I think there's something more to this. I hope it's hinting at the mod API, I think that might be enough to inspire me to brush up on my java :/

You may want to read my post while you still can, some of them have been randomly disappearing lately *cough*

Well, don't forget how every new version, the last change on the log is "Removed Herobrine".
Crippling bug in this snapshot, don't bother trying to load worlds that have item frames, as it will crash your game.
^This. I tried loading the world, couldn't. Switched to 1.7.9 to find the item frames all over the floor and ALL of my chests empty, as is my inventory. None of my horses have their armor/saddles and I don't have my armor either.
So freakin' frustrated and I'm worried I won't get all of my stuff back. Put so many hours into this game. >_<

You won't get your items back in 1.7.9 unless you have a backup of your world from before you loaded the snapshot. Reverting from any of the current snapshots to 1.7.9 or earlier will delete ALL items from the world. (This includes player inventory as well as chest contents.) This is NOT a bug.
Moral of the story. Always backup your worlds before playing with them on snapshots.

Tis far better to be a witty fool than a foolish wit.

If you play snapshots and don't back up it's not Mojang's fault. It's yours. It's a SNAPSHOT.
The only issue I've found with the functionality of pistons in conjunction with slime blocks is in the contraption below:
If I stand on the diamond block and pull the lever, I'm assuming it should pull up the diamond block with me still on top of it. Instead, it pulls up the diamond block and I fall down through it. Pushing up the blocks instead of pulling them up works just as it should, though.
So they actually implemented the "piston cars and infinite memory"? Suggestion? Awesome!
This will allow for some revolutionary innovations with redstone!
1.8 looks very promising! Kind of ironic really...

Big props to ZipKrowd for their cutting-edge minecraft research.

Killing the Ender Dragon, no damage (no armor/potions/enchantments/pumpkin)

So... slime blocks are now a vanilla version of frames from redpower? Awesome.
