The damn void fog is still in there with no option to toggle it ...
Optifine can turn it off as long as that mod author keeps it updated, which is dependant on MCP, which isn't updated until a day or three after a full release, releases.
The new zombie is actually quite impressive now. Zombies won't just walk straight towards you anymore but rather will go around if necessary! But it could have been a coincidence :/ but i think it was the new AI

Yep, I said a page or so ago, zombies will now try to avoid holes that are two blocks in depth or more.
We only needed the one DWP video. I saw it, liked it and subbed. Anyone that didn't like it wouldn't have kept watching, and wouldn't be interested in their videos. So they would ignore "news" about their videos and people who liked them most likely already know.
I would like it if instead, you posted videos of other good gamers, who don't get much recognition. That way newsreaders get a better chance of finding people with a "style" they like, and you're helping out people who are good at what they do.
And the jungles are awesome looking, but the short trees need to be a little taller so we can walk under them. That way we get an awesome canopy.

Please, do enjoy the time you spend, and soon spent, reading my sig, cause you'll never get it back! >
I love the updates except
- Added jungle biome (requires a new world) with new tree and leaf types
What the hell...I reset my world for 1.0, and 1.1 and now 1.2? will it happen again...spare me pls...
What the point of having this new block? To make your world more beauty isn't it? In exchange you make your world look stupid with all the strange chunk appear all around...It's meaningless...I'm tired
Are you sure you want to move this file to the Recycle Bin
Whats with all these updates, its hard enough to run a server without having to run all your plugins off dev builds and running your server off a dev build...zzz
Did nobody understand what they meant by "the full release of minecraft will NOT be the end of development for it?"
You guys don't HAVE to start a new world, you only have to start one of you want jungle biomes. IMO this update is great, I won't mind starting another world and having some fun with jungle biomes once the update is finished. Still looking forward to what'll be done with the villagers though.
For future reference, everyone should EXPECT to have to start a new world for certain features of some updates.
In fact, jungles do generate in old worlds if you are running them in single player.
If the level.dat has generatorVersion = 1 and generatorName = default in it, jungle will spawn (tested on 2 survival worlds and 1 creative). For server maps, you can change those parameters. Check this thread: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/956439-to-get-jungle-biome-in-a-110-generated-world/
with the gorilla banana thing, in the terrain .png the jungle leaves have a berry type things on them
they may be a future adition it is under redstone and next to detector rail
Welcome to the jungle, we got fun and games. We got anything you've wanted, honey we know the names. We are the people that can fly, whenever you may need, if you got the money honey we got your disease.
Been playing for about 20 seconds, and I've already found an issue. When in the inventory menu, your head always seems to face south, and down a little bit. So if you face north, your head will be twisted 180 degrees. It's kind of creepy.

Jimmy Carr on the subject of beating your wife - "It's just so stupid, isn't it? Beating your wife. I mean, it's your wife. It's like keying your own car."
Zombies have a slight bug now... They walk against a water current to the point where they don't get pushed by it... Is messing up my mob grinder again..... grrrr
Too many (quiet) changes have been made that negatively affect grinders for this to be an accident.
-Mobs don't wander unless your close
-SMP hitboxes are broken and don't behave like single player mode. This breaks XP farms pretty good. No word from Mojang that they will ever fix this.
-This could be a coincidence, but a mob unwilling to drop 2 blocks will mess up a lot of grinders as well.
Don't hold your breath for this one to get fixed. It's a good bet this was deliberate.

here:
I'm all for more content, but..
Mojang did say (more than once) that map updates would not be needed after 1.0
This was to allay fears that you would have to abandon your maps to keep up with new terrain generation.
Clearly, this was not true.
Just a possibility.
Enter that and you'll score one hundred thousand rupees for us both, along with a spiffy card!
