i read about this couple days ago, sadly its not a Easter egg :sad.gif: the notched pickaxe shows up in oblivion as well, at least that's what all the sites listing them off said, thy thought it was a minecraft Easter egg as well, but yea i'm not sure, it could have been added again however for this very reason
Shhhhh. Just wait till he steps on the pressure pad, then watch the fireworks. Steve:La dee da im walking home so i can eat some cake. *click* *pshhhhhhhhhhh* Steve:oh s**t *ba-boom* there, wasnt that fun little creeper baby. You are going to be able to do that too some day.
THEY ARE LEARNING? STOP THE MADNESS!
You could mine in Morrowind, and I think Oblivion, so that's nothing new.
The death in Skyrim is just the dragon going on fire and soul being absorbed. Minecraft has it fly up and dissapear with all pixels randomly going out and light coming out. Very different.
I can indeed confirm no Notched Pickaxe before Skyrim- gone on UESP and the unoficial wikia and searching Notch got nothing (but Skyrim results) and Pickaxe only got loads of generic pickaxes, and the Notched... in Skyrim.
Skyrim and Minecraft are very good games, and the developers are very integrated. I'd dare say Mojang AND Bethesda should combine. Not have Beth own them, but make a very good company, like Square and Enix combined to make Square Enix. (I think. Square and something.)
no pal, in morrowind and oblivion, you could "open" the veins to take the ores, now you mine them, and smelt them, and craft from them, in case you didn't read.
and it's very different, two dragons very similar to each other, when they die they have the effect of lightning going inside out, and you can absorb what they drop... very different indeed...
Just saying, definetely a relationship is forming here.Just saying, definetely a relationship is forming here.

95% of teens would scream if Justin Beiber was about to jump of the top of the Empire State Building. If you are in the 5% that would grab a seat and some popcorn and yell JUMP! JUMP! JUMP! post this into your sig.
Regardless if it is a Minecraft reference. Bethesda and Mojang need to attend a Peace Council "Skyrim Reference". I mean, both are a very smart and good game company, though Zenimax is being ignored in this situation, but really. Quarreling over a bloody game name, that is utmost dumb.
Still, I doubt they gonna hate each other. But no proof this pickaxe is Minecraft related, Notched just means it has rough edges to better catch grip on the surface it is striking to create more friction.
