Jump scares. Nothing special. horror to me is something that gets under your skin and creeps you out, makes you think about it. This made my laugh. Using famous YouTuber heads? Check. Herobrine? Check. Nothing scary, just laughable. It would be better if you started with no effects and slowly got slower and everything got darker. Sorry, but not scary at all, but the sounds and the bloody textures were cool
I don't know…I'll have to try it out myself. I mean, it can't be that scary. The only video game that actually scared me was Amnesia: The Dark Descent.

I barely go online, but if I do - I tend to stay on for quite awhile. Feel free to reply to my posts, I'll try and answer back.
Eh, felt a little laughable to be honest. I'm easily scared, but the horror here pretty much consisted of "LOOK AT THESE (BLOODY) HEADS AND HEAR THESE SOUNDS!". The ending was pretty cliché as well, there was a lot of buildup and it led to nothing.
I must admit, though, the sounds were pretty well done, though.

Did something happen to you in your childhood to give you this unreasonable fear of rutabaga?
This map is truly awesome! and the resources pack makes it even better, I've uploaded a video of my playing it, and I must say, I want to play it again, but the idea of doing it, It scares me!.
There's pretty much nothing but the jump scares, but the fact that Nothing Is Scarier makes the map insanity-inducing.
That would have played a part for me were it not for Herobrine. I was unnerved at the beginning, but once Herobrine popped up the map stopped being scary. I assumed he killed all those youtubers, and I don't exactly fear him so there wasn't much fear factor for me there.

Scary is as subjective as funny.
That said this goes have great psychological factors in use:
1. Limited visiability. What we don't see is often more frightening than what we do.
2. Sound (if you cannot identify the souce of a sound it is unnerving)
3. Suggestive themes . I'd actualy advise toning down the blood and [ lets face it weak attempt at ] gore. Less is more.
4. Jumps. These are good now and then but need more variety.
5. Perspective scewing. The poion effect used is increadibly effective, I pity anyone viewing that anaglyphically (3-D).

This is indeed the scariest Minecraft map I've ever seen.

I couldn't even finish it, it was too scary.

If you do not have time to do it right, you must have time to do it over.
