You can create a castle out of nowhere in 1.6.2. their a useful MCEdit filter SethBling created for that. And befor you say, but now you can do it in Vanilla, if you can load the world in Vanilla and it works, its Vanilla. Most mapmakers use mods like WorldEdit anyway.
You do know that there are people out there who don't like mcedit, right?

Ever hear of something called running away? Its like running towards them, but without the confrontation and death.
Well u cud try to kick my butt. But it'll be you with the red ass
You ask a question and it isn't answered, so you leave a snarky second post instead of just re-submitting the question (usually that will get you an answer if you're polite and a little patient).

Two new things that I would love to see in 1.7 would be:
A new gamerule that can change whether or not TNT damages blocks and another that's the same but with players. (You could use TNT to kill players, but not break blocks in adventure maps and such.)
Also, there should be something like @p.x and @r.y@a.z, and so on. You could trap players, where ever they may be, in a bedrock box. You could also use command blocks to clear, say Fire Resistance, and use a comparator output to make a house appear around them. It would be cool in an adventure map to just throw a potion of Fire Resistance at your feet and immediately have a mansion or whatever appear around or near you!
does this means u can build walls at big heights with a simple command? like input how high the blocks go? Or what does it mean in simpler terms?
Basically, it's a command that lets you place one block with a certain ID at specific coordinates.
method is special and can have three values: replace, keep, destroy. "replace" will simply replace the current block, and throw an error message if nothing happened (occurs when the new block/data is identical to the old one). "keep" will only place the new block if the target space is empty, and "destroy" will first destroy the target block (and spawn resources) before placing the new block.
And dataTag is for stuff like placing items in chests.
I'm so happy knowing that something I suggested here on the forums a while back is actually going to be put in the game (Don't believe me? Check my profile; the topic was locked for being redundant to another topic from almost a year before suggesting the exact same thing. Didn't have any idea it existed though, and I got mixed support, which is surprising seeing how the support here for Mojang's implementation is overwhelmingly positive).
Anyway, I already was aware that this was coming because of Jeb's twitter, but still, this is exciting news nonetheless.
This will definitely be a neat feature for creating maps. Now I just want a command that can customize blocks with difference attributes such as if they produce light, are visible, have a collider, react to gravity, use a different block texture, etc.

I hope they don't remove the ability to spawn falling sand entities. there will be things that will look better as falling down instead of materializing, I'm sure.
Also please, please, add in the ability to use player position and properties as arguments for commands, and while i'm at it, add the ability to print out the scores/use them as arguments from a scoreboard. Such a simple thing but would just open up to so many more and new possibilities.
You don't know how much I want commands to be able to use commands with player realative coordinates! Also using scores kinda like "variables" would be super cool.
This means you could make your own version of the Magic Carpet plugin for Bukkit, right? Use the command blocks on a clock to spawn a 25x25 glass platform beneath you as you move, including jumping.
And it could be you that would fail Spelling Class.

Unless Falling Sand keeps its odd properties (I hope it does!).
But now we can finally spawn blocks! I'm going to go edit my map...
Putting the CENDENT back in transcendent!
