Hmm. It occurs to me that spectator-mode players do need to have one effect on the world... They presumably keep chunks loaded! Looks like now there's a safe way to go AFK while keeping your circuits and farms working....

I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.

Meh. None of the 1.8 snapshots have had anything legitimately interesting in them, save the skin snapshot. Which, may I add, has nothing to do with Modding API 2: Episode 3.
Is anyone else having CPU problems? When I open MC, my CPU skyrockets from 12% to 100%. When I then close the game, it is fine again. Is this just me or everyone? Should I do something to fix this?

i hope they add some more mobs or something for us survival players, so far they haven't added much
i also feel like at the last second they will be like "oh and we made this without telling you" and display the plugin API that they have been working on, but i doubt it sadly.
Nice update for mapmakers and stuff. Useless for survival players.
I really wish they'd start working on survival properly. Survival really needs some NEW stuff. Rather than aesthetic things and whatnot. I enjoy the new stone, and the new flowers, and biomes. But I'd really rather some proper gameplay changes. New hostile mobs, new tools/weapons, new storage blocks, etc. Things that actually effect survival players in a bigger way.
In survival, I cut down a tree, get the logs and then walk away. I come back a few minutes later to get apples and instead find a few peices of cobblestone on the ground. No apples in sight. Haven't picked any apples up after cutting down around 50 trees.

1. Fix the way zombies work so a village can be made defensible. I like having a mine near my village/base, but it's annoying to have to come back up to the surface every 5 minutes so I can sleep and keep the whole place from being wiped out because the villagers are idiots and the iron golem(s) can't protect them.
2. Maybe a craftable tool belt? Some way to create a non-abusive inventory expansion, such as one that only contains tools (no ores, food, etc.).
3. NPC "players" would be interesting. They'd be rare spawns that have unique trades as well as randomly assigned play styles (resource gathering, homicidal, protective of a mine/house, etc.). Giving them a "house" with a few other NPCs (a family? A village they protect?) might be cool, too. Making a wandering NPC class could also help re-populate de-populated houses without having to go through the whole rigamarole with potions and zombies.
4. Ruins. Villages, castles, etc. that had nothing to do with me letting zombies wipe out a bunch of NPCs. Rebuilding them could be fun, and maybe they could provide a unique habitat for new monsters?

Do you play multiplayer? Someone may be dropping cobble and picking up your apples.
(Or you could just be trolling, but who does that on the internet?)

1: You could make a wall around the place, and light the inside up? I understand what you mean though. Even if the AI is the same, just add some kind of proper defense that villagers avoid, but hostile mobs get killed on, so you can defend a village easily. Or even just give villagers a way to defend themselves.
2: I think having custom 'bags' for specific item types would be nice actually. Even if they only held like 1 row of items each. You could have a food pouch, bag for tools, bag for ores. And picking up items would automatically place the items in the correct bag, unless you have some already in your inventory, then it'd fill that stack first, then once it's full, start placing it in the bag.
3: Re-implementing the idea of "Human" mobs would be interesting actually. Mobs with random skins, that act like players in a way. Some build. Some cut trees. Some Mine. Some just run around killing everything(including players). It might need a lot of work to fit in properly though, but it would make single player feel less 'alone', which would be a huge addition. That, plus the items the human mob collects, could be stored in a chest, and looted.
4: I've always liked the idea of more structures. Just adding more things to find as you explore. Giving me a reason to actually explore. Having random chests spawn (fairly often) in caves would be nice too. The chests would contain basic items like torches, wood, stone bricks, wool, etc. Occasionally adding a rare item here and there like tools, armor, ingots, etc. I say "Fairly often" because I find that I'm much more interested if I find a lot of smaller things, than if I spend ages and only find 1. Kind of like mining. I'll spend ages in a cave mining EVERY ore, and I find it entertaining. Even if I'm only getting coal and iron. But If I spend 2 hours looking for diamonds in a cave, I'm just getting more and more annoyed and bored when I don't find it.

Yes the moon can be orange, you'll see it when the moon has just risen.
Cheese door, iron sky, happy Iceland. I just said random words. The reason of this: complete random, but the question is, why are you reading this?
