The new keybindings are great. But, when are we finally going to be rid of hidden keybindings? E.g; Next and previous item select being permanently bound to the mousewheel.
It has always been a pet peeve in games, having to use 3rd party programs to fix keybindings.
I keep seeing people complain about 'no mod API' but they are moving towards it.* It seems quite a few people complaining about no API(this isn't everyone, nor the majority) are those that won't use it or have the impression that it will make modding available to everyone; such as a few clicks of the mouse and a few typed lines.
This isn't the case. People will still have to code/program mods. An API is just an abstraction layer, to make interfacing, programatically, with the game easier. In the meantime, there's forge and bukkit.
* If you look at the code its slowly being restructured so mods can more easily 'hook' into events, alter current behavior, etc.
Jebs ruined minecraft, Minecrafts gone over the top and there just adding stupid updates to keep you guys happy and the updates aren't even worth it.
Questions:
1. Over the top of what?
2. Why are updates that keep us happy stupid?
3. The updates aren't worth what? The updates are free of charge, aren't they?
Suggestions:
1. Learn all about the apostrophe;
2. Meditate on the differences between homonyms; and
3. Meditate as a part of your daily routine. Meditation can bring peace of mind, balance to your emotions, and reduce stress.

Already 1.7.2? What was 1.7 and 1.7.1?
I hear that Creepers ignite with flint and steel, I immediately go tell my friends that right clicking Creepers with flint and steel will tame them and make Creeper pets.
Finding lots of broken landscape now - extreme hills with the sides cuts off so they look like tall cuboids with lava and water squirting out.
Also so lagging, crashing constantly.
Are you using the AMPLIFIED gen.? That's what makes it create stuff like that, and it needs a pretty good computer to run well.

is this a new world? or an old one? the biomes get all wierd if you change the versions of a world. ((if you REALLY want to see something than do 1.6.2 than 1.7 then 1.6 then 1.7 and check out that.. (you also need to walk around a bit on each version)))
Are you saying that you really need to start a new world for every update?I didn't know that.. isn't that kind of a big deal breaker?
No. Due to the changes in how your world saves in 1.7 from previous versions, you will need to walk around your world in 1.6.4 and load up all previously visited chunks before upgrading to 1.7.x. Otherwise generated structure's(Witch huts, nether fortresses, jungle temples, etc) regions get 'currupted' or may appear where they weren't before. Not the actual structure, just its bounding boxes that define an area being as such
The land corruption as displayed in the screenshots above is unrelated. And I have yet to see it while walking around in my map which was started in 1.4.x and has been progressively moved to each new official update, now being played on 1.7.2
I doubt the legitimacy of the claim with the information given. The reason is nothing has changed from 1.6 in how the world saves except for as mentioned above, region data on generated structures. To be honest, it looks like world edit or similar.
I don't get why this update is called "The World Update"
I can't see anything new but flowers...
What the hell is World changing in the update???
Still no fish mob.
Mesa biome(unrealistic)-sucks
Large flowers can't be placed on a flower pot
No mod-api
And this is the worst update of Minecraft...

Maybe two years from now...

1) My bed looks like it was cut in half and reassembled with the head and footboard's together.
2) My Donkey is missing along with my only saddle and I swear there are twice as many horses on the island now :/
