It didn't even occur to me at first that you can use the new wooden buttons and make yourself an archery shooting gallery with sounds , lights , etc. Something I just started messing with...now if only there was a way to get the arrows off the buttons faster...
I like the addition of carrots and potatoes. I would like there to be more crops and prehaps more complex proceedures for making food, such as needing to actually bake bread. But how they introduct the new crops is more difficult for them than it needs to be. They already have the method of finding seeds in tall grass. Why not make it so that you can find different kinds of plants in the tall grass which would represent finding a wild version of the plant and then cultivating it.
It would work like this: the player breaks tall grass which has a random chance of dropping seeds. These seeds are not the same as seeds currently in the game, but are an unknown plant that the player would need to plant and grow to find out what it is. It could grow into any of the plants available in the game, with the randomizer adjusted to make some more rare than others.
This means that wheat would no longer drop wheat and seeds, which is silly since in real life wheat is seeds. Wheat could then be planted to grow more wheat or used to make food or feed livestock. It would require a bit of resource management. Especially if they nerf the wheat production to the same as carrots and potatoes where growing wheat could yield 1-4 wheat, so you could wait for wheat to grow and gain nothing if it yields only one wheat.
I like this and it would make it easier for the Mojang team to introduce new crops into the game.
have to say, everything in the new snapshot is good BUT.... i don't really like the new map thing i like just having the full map like it used to be, but i do like the way it shows where the map is in the item frame and how it tells you where you are off the map relative to the map.
heres a bug i encountered. i made a map, which is exploded view now i guess. anyways my old map of the "region" erased when i made a new seperate map. i tried this again. made a third map and my second one blanked. i put one in a frame, tried to remove it and it dissapeared.
I love how Mojang is re-adding difficulty and challenge to MC....a hacked zombie with full diamond gear can more than likely be able to kill the player.....(don't let Vechs see this :P)
Can't wait for "Adventure Update 2"
The new snapshots dont work when i download em i got this when i tried this one:

Enter that and you'll score one hundred thousand rupees for us both, along with a spiffy card!
dang that sounds lame
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooo...............
I rather earn them legit by fighting them out on the plain.
I think its could be better if there is less space between each maps
