Sweet jesus. I only wish that the installation process was easier. It's kind of like the Raspberry PI, where as it was so interesting that I wanted one, but 1, it was still in development, meaning that it could become obsolete at any second, and 2, I wouldn't be using it very often.
Huh... it looks exactly like regular Minecraft except shaky, crooked, blurry, harder to actually use, and with a useless gimmick that everyone already got tired of a year ago slapped on
1.) It only looks shaky to us because his head is shaking, where as the screen isn't. When you sit still, it doesn't appear as if your head is shaking, but it actually shakes just as much as his. Also, when wearing the actual goggles, I'd assume that since it follows your head motions, it acts as if it isn't shaking.
Also, how is it blurry in any way? Try turning the video off of 240p.
2.) I might agree, It may be slightly harder to use, but I'd assume it's on a very small scale.
3.) What's the useless gimmick that everyone got tired of a year ago and slapped on? The fact that you can SEE your BODY? OMG! I'M LOOKING DOWN AND I CAN SEE MY BODY! GOD, HOW STUPID IS THAT?
Cool, but eh, I'll stick to simple old keyboard and mouse/controller gaming with a normal monitor. Motion controls like this are cool and all, but I don't really see them replacing what we have, simply because it already works wonders. It's certainly a neat little thing, but the "wow" factor can only last so long, as demonstrated by the Wii, PS Move and Kinect.
I do support the work put into it, though. I can only wonder what may come next.
I don't mean this to sound disparaging or mean or anything, but if I don't someone meaner will. The wow factor doesn't ware off. It just moves to bigger stuff. Wii remotes were left in the dust because you could use your whole body(kinect) instead. I love the wii. My favorite wii game is sports resort sword play showdown.
Also, my parents told me that for a while they didn't buy those "new-fangled dvds" because they didn't think they would catch on.
On another note, I want Minecon to be on the east coast even more now because chances are, they'll have those to try out.
It would be awesome if you could use a wii-remote like object and actually swing to swing your sword, or hold it sideways to block.
Kinect 2.0 from Xbox and running on a big circular treadmill would be sweet aswell!
Where can oculus rift and giant treadmills be bought?
But controller & keyboard gaming will still be fine.
This sort of stuff shouldn't be more than a fun gimmick to play with.
Another game I'd also like to play with that Is DayZ where its already quite scary even though its on the normal screen, it would feel so real.

I put my shirt on one leg at a time, just like everybody else.
Totally awesome! I found a nice way to watch this video in 3d. If you can cross your eyes then good for you because if you do it right you'll see the two screens into one picture which looks 3d. Its pretty cool
This is epic, just imagine that you are inside your Minecraft world, you can look around like in a real world. With a good headphone, you hear only your minecraft world, you see only your minecraft world, it would not take long to forget what is real and what is not...must...buy...must...have...now
Of course, not being able to see the keyboard could be a problem.....

I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.
It takes a TON of practice, but if you focus correctly, you can actually forum these two images into 1 and see this in 3D. I just did, and it's awesome. It's called cross-eye 3D. This video will show you all how to do it.
Now use what this video showed you on the video above. Enjoy your 3D.
