For a Mash-up pack I would personally want to have a Lord of the Rings pack. There could be a world save for the land of Middle Earth. There could be The Shire, Mordor, and the Elf kingdom. The skins could be the many characters. ( Bilbo Baggins, Frodo, Gandalf, the Elves, the Dwarves, and different type of Orcs. The new items could be battle axes, different food, and more ore types. That would be very cool.
Wow...a texture pack and small mod and they are literately selling it just because it's on a different platform.
I'm trying to comprehend this idocricy.
So...people can download all of the texture packs and mods they want for free on the PC version...but they are literately selling them on the Xbox 360 just because it's a different platorm and probably takes a bit of tweaking to implement mods/texture packs on there. Wow.
Don't get it if you don't want to. I personally wouldn't if I had the xbox version.
However lets look at it this way: Mojang might need some reason to continue developing minecraft, this is like the "donate, get aesthetic change" thing. In addition i'll bet the skyrim creators want some money for it. Partly because the scrolls thing, but partly because they are also a company.
You also have to realize, Microsoft does not like giving away free addons for games unless there's a VERY good reason. "Because it's free on PC" isn't a good enough reason for Microsoft. The whole paying for texturepacks and skins thing has been discussed before.
Team fortress 2 had the same issue. The PC version had free updates that added tons of weapons, maps, and the addition of hats, and even a new gamemode. Microsoft didn't like the idea of giving the updates out for free on the 360 version. Instead of charging for updates that should be free, Valve decided to not add the new things in at all. Be happy Minecraft is even getting skins and texture packs.
Microsoft are really against giving in-game things away for free. I'm sure the people making the xbox version(and mojang) aren't complaining about extra money either, but still. It's only like $5 anyway. Not a huge deal considering you get a texture pack, tons of skins, and a custom map. You don't HAVE to get it. And they give away some things free. They've given away a free skin pack for and texture pack for so far, and trials of skin packs come with 2-3 free skins you can use whenever you want.
If you really want a free texture pack, mod your xbox and add it yourself.
I just want to make sure that if they take mods made by other people (ex. Aether) then they better pay those people a good percentage of the profit. Same goes for texture packs too. They are the ones that make minecraft so great!
I would like a Disgaea mashup for Minecraft Playstation versions, and be able to have a Lv9999 character. all stuff can be enchanted to their XXX Level (30)

Why does Xbox gets the cool stuff?! D;
Yes, I do that all the time lol. I try to use LB to run and Y to jump
I only support what I like
Yeah.. and pay $3.99 for it... just wait someone will probably figure a way to make a pc version, and for free.
Mini Nova.
2. Port it to console.
3. Give the console version stuff the PC doesn't have.
Sigh... same old as ever.
