I'm loving it and I found a mesa biome and plan to make a house in the mountain, I only wish we had stairs made of clay, I can use spruce plank stairs cause the spruce looks good with the clay.

I tried to use the seed punchwood.com which is an island seed and it did not work, I tried it like 3 times think I was doing something wrong, could this be because of the new world generation and that see is no more.

mossy boulders can be found in redwood forests

Switch to 64bit java. With 32 bit there is only so many chunks that can be held in memory and displayed.

i am waiting for the next snapshoot specially since the last (b at the moment of this post) doesn't put villagers even if selected on the options

Those are features, not bugs.

they have added a lot of things such as

Oversized nether portals, An end to minecraft (you cant go on forever due to a invisible wall when your coords are really big)
/setblock command and /tellraw command used to send stuff that can effect the game play ( send someone Want an apple? Yes? No? if they click yes they will receive an apple)

I think Mojang is playing with us and they are noises of the red dragon. That's my guess at least.

I just got 1.6.4 after I had 13w37b for a while - i left "use the latest version" selected in my laucher. So I am a bit confused now : are they planning on keeping 1.6.x alive because of all the incompatibility that could arise in terms of mods, texture packs etc, etc, or what ? Latest snapshots actually have more features than this update. For example - there is not big obsidian portals here, nor any of the deco blocks. No AMPLIFIED world generator, also... and this one came after the 13W37 a and b snapshots.

Someone has a clue what's going on here ?

I really like what they did to Minecraft. It gives it a new experience.
