You need the most recent Minecraft launcher (if you do not have it already)! Remember, the old launcher is no longer supported, and you will need this version in order to continue receiving updates and support!

Thank god for this, I tried going on the actual Mojang page to download it but it seems everyone is eager to download the new 1.6 update, so there was a server overload, Great work!
A little bird told me that just about the time the most active large mods catch up (1-2 weeks), 1.6.2 would be coming out. Oh wait.... was that last time? Any bets ladies and gents? Aren't we already at 1.6.1 on day one? Meh heh heh

However, now I've encoutered a bug where I can't play on Online mode anymore, with the new launcher. It just gives me the option Offline mode and logout
Auth server is very buggy the last 4 hrs (Since the release) :s
That's a visual bug; it still works right. I believe it's a bug.
I'm really happy for the update, now I just gotta wait for Forge to update to update my own mod so I can start owning those zombies with an overpowered sword. :3
How so? Horses are awesome, carpets look good in my house, stained clay is a good variant of wool, and I love getting loot in nether fortresses as well as some new horse-related stuff in dungeons, so how is it a rubbish update if it's making the community happy?
I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but it seems that whenever I start up the game with a resource pack, every text in the game gets messed up. Is that normal?
