Here's a nice juicy bug for ya. In creative mode when you turn an emerald block into emeralds you can't shift click it, and when you stack it it goes one less than the previous stack so yeah FIX IT
Bug: Can't write on signs, had to try a few times.
I can confirm this, at least for signs that have already been placed. When placing signs for the first time, you can write on them, but once they've been placed, you can't right click on them and edit the text. I believe you used to be able to do this.
Villagers sell things like bottles o' enchanting, diamond tools and armor, glowstone blocks, saddles, chainmail armor... So yes, you need a lot of sugar cane but you can get quite useful items by trading.
Kinda sad I can't play the snapshots cause i'm on a mac and I crash for whatever reason, I'll just have to wait for the official version update.
Turns out macs, and internal server errors are fixable in a fashion similar to the last few snapshots. if you create a folder in the .jar named server the snapshot will work.
1. Fix the lighting bugs! We have light level 0 in the daytime under overhangs, and that means mobs spawning when you should be safe (2 creepers from nowhere! Ouch!). Fix the phantom-light when a mini-chunk has light data and no block data.
1b. Give us a "/relight" command. Increment a light generation number; then, any chunk loaded with a lower generation number gets recalculated. Recalculates all loaded chunks, and then recalculates new chunks as they are loaded.
This! SO much this!
Also... I really miss how smooth true single player was. I really hope this new method of having single player as a local server can match the smoothness/response time of single player.
(In regard to a mod that gives realistic animal genetics):
Would you really rather have bees that make diamonds and oil with magical genetic blocks?
... did I really ask that?
Are you serious?
you download it, Name it system32, find your original System32, Delete it, then place the jar.
Just in case... don't do what this guy is telling you to do, it will screw up your entire system.
Lighting bugs... very annoying. Those black patches are EVERYWHERE. You have to get right up on them, and sometimes they fix themselves, but not always.
[BUG] Spawning in a jungle biome has a very slim chance of exploding the bonus chest and the items will be free floating. I was able to get this bug using the seed "inthelittlewood" w/o quotes. However i only got it once. I have re generated the world about 12 times after and have yet to recreate the bug.
EDIT recreated the bug.
Seed " inthelittlewood" w/o quotes Include the space at the beginning of the seed. 100% of a exploded bonus chest.
That's wierd it won't let me use LAN! My friend and I are trying to use it both of us are connected to my wifi and it say Server Host ******* not recognized for him. So is there any way i can make LAN work for us?
That is a terrible idea. Snapshots are buggy and are not ready for the masses.
If you are not technically capable of installing a snapshot, you should not be trying to play it.
Did you know I write Science Fiction? Well I do. Check it out at http://planetretcon.com/books/
to change spawners just go with gui spawner mod
Yeah but then how come it still lags badly on 1280x800 fullscreen resolution, 1GB of DDR2 RAM but 256MB allocated?

Oh, ok. I thought I remembered being able to edit it. No bug then, apparently
Why sugar cane?

Vechs maps will now be impossible. Oh god no.
Also, there need to be items you can ONLY get by trading with villagers.
This! SO much this!

In multiplayer? I'm not talking single player mode, I'm talking full internet multiplayer.
