awesome win for the mojang guys!I think after I read the English short version that bethesda wanted to use our consumers are of low intelligence they wont know the difference card. too bad for you that the court's didn't believe that line and nether would have I over 1 word.
I can't read my location due to the fact that, for it to be true, I would have to appear behind myself. And to do that, I have to (unfortunately) be 20% cooler.
Was there really ever any way this could have turned out in Bethesda's favor? xD
The lawsuit was frivolous at best and shouldn't have even got as far as it did. Mojang can relax (more than usual) now =P
Gratz guys and gals ^^
@ExCinis
Exactly, it was stupid >.> They'll prolly try to sue Mojang every few years now ^^; it's the latest trend with big companies. Shame for them that Mojang doesn't wanna play ball, they just wanna play Quake xD
As much as I love Mojang, they are far from as innocent as you make them out to be. They filled for a trademark of the word scrolls in everything from games to tv shows to clothing. Said trademark could have been used to sue bethesdaand force them to change the name of all elder scrolls games. Bethesda sued to prevent them from getting the trademark and included the part aboutthe scrolls name as well. Myth sides are partially responsible, not just Bethesda.
Doesn't change the fact that from 11/11/11 onwards, my life is going to be all about Skyrim though.
I won't even play minecraft when it's officially released, I'll be too busy killing Argonians.
"...Billions of lighthouses, stuck at the far end of the sky."
Better Mojang than some faceless corporation like Bethesda or Zenimax or whatever.
There is no shame, Storm. No shame.
And good job, Mojang! :biggrin.gif:
Were they actually that dumb that they thought they would win?
LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!
