My biggest concern is the efficiency of bread. Now it feels like carrots or potatoes are much more efficient than bread, since the vegetable don't require more than a dozen of bonemeal.
Yeah, bread was already somewhat marginalized, made worse by potatoes. Its remaining role is still as startup food, as you can still grow it the slow way. But the real problem is, this makes it much more difficult to fill out a wheat field when starting a game. It makes setting up a new base tougher too, for all crops.

I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.
"Guys, we need the bonemeal nerf because you cant grow crops in a single movement in real life!"
Sometimes I think people forget that we can break trees with our hands and go to hell to shoot magical flaming arrows at floating baby voiced squids.
The point I'm making is that minecraft isn't meant to be realistic. Why should crop growing be?
I can see all of this bonemeal nerf hoax, but I think it's best to let Mojang do what's good for them. At least they're trying to give us some challenges so it won't be a very short gameplay or a task.

Bread is my favorite game meal... but now it's just pointless. (Unless you make a giant wheat farm of about 30x30 blocks big and you just let them grow by themselves)
Challenge? Hardly. Annoying? Sure it is, Minecraft is absolutely NOT challenging, once you have seen all biomes you know what each one will look like, Hard mode is, incredibly, easy, Hardcore has no challenge at all, you just have to be a little more careful, but you generally only die if you go derping around.

I reckon mobs should be scared of minecarts if there's an active cart riding on the tracks, and if minecarts hit mobs and players full speed it hurts them
Awesome! Now we can make stuff like Quest Points in custom maps and for a quest you need a certain amount of quest points! But now I want a door to open only if the player has a certain amount of Quest Points... Is there a way to emit a redstone signal when the players has enough quest points?
You can do exactly that if you add a comparator to a command block you and type in "/testfor @p[score_Quest_min=40,r=6]" and connect the comparator to the iron door with a single redstone. If you want a group to go in at once then add more redstone for every player you would like in the area. It will count how many players are in the area that meet the requirements and increase the strength of the redstone.
By the way i noticed a "feature"/bug when disoensing 14 TNT minecarts 2 per pulse the carts instasplode on you. all below are stable.

If you are honest, it's a tiny little change which effects gameplay in almost no regard...
Exactly. All it does is serve to annoy, so why introduce such a change at all? Change should be purposeful, with intentions on improving something. So now, however infrequently it's used, when I do go to right-click on a piece of immature wheat, instead of one right-click, I now have to do that SEVEN times (I understand it's not "balanced", the the seven figure will most likely be changed)! I don't understand why any change was necessary at all. Again, change should have a reason behind it, and I fail to see the goal here.
IMO the bone meal nerf is so dumb, since they buffed skeletons so now, they are pretty much overpowered.
atleast lower is to like 2-3 a crop, i used to see a skeleton and be like, eh, now i see a skeleton, and i know i will get hit, because they have such good aim, and spawn in groups alot of times. so, bone meal is now even more useless, and they could have done other things. like, nerf the skeletons.
I have a command block that's giving me problems. I set up a dummy objective (which I named Data) and now have the command block set up to a button. Ideally, when a player presses this button it would check to see if the player has a data value of 2, and if so would give them the sword. But my specifier is ineffective, if the objective of Data merely exists it will give the player the sword regardless of their score. I don't know why it's doing this, I've tried renaming the objective; tried adding different ranges; changing the required score; made sure command blocks were on; tried using the "testfor" command to check the score instead (same problem). I'll give anyone who presses the button a sword so long as the objective it's testing for exists (regardless of the player's score). Here's all the code that I tried that ignored the specifier, could I please have some help?:
What does client mean? (I'm kind of a noob at this stuff (but not actual minecraft)
The server serves the client. If you're not interested in running a server, download the client version of the snapshot. The client is the consumer of the game, I suppose.

Giant Mushrooms are still 1 bonemeal, hopefully they stay that way!

I propose that bonemeal + ghast tear (or something) combine to create a new item that functions like the old bonemeal.
I like to have my cake and eat it too.
Enter that and you'll score one hundred thousand rupees for us both, along with a spiffy card!
