You can mine while charging a bow.

Not sure if it's only in creative.

Just charge the bow to max, and proceed to left click and hold to mine. It's minor, but I don't think it's supposed to happen.

I tried to find a way to post this on the bug page, but I guess I can't.

Here's a terrain generation bug I found:

The tree is generated above water and is floating (no block is connecting it to the surface of the water/dirt).

Here's a terrain generation bug, in the forest biome, trees spawn everwhere, so if there is a river cutting throught it, a lot of trees will spawn IN THE WATER! It's actually kind of fun though XD

Is there a download or separate file for macs? or is this a no go?

Was trying to change graphics from Fancy to fast on the start page.

@ Vascore_x It works the same with both windows, AND macs. Just download the .jar go to you minecraft folder go into bin and replace the original minecraft .jar with the one you downloaded, AND BOOM! YOU HAVE 1.8!

when you smelt something it crashes

Cool.

Performance needs to be fixed. majorly, also if i put chicken or beef in a furnace when its done smelting it crashes.

when you look down and sometimes look around your hand turns black

When you exit the crafting bench with items still in it, the items fall out like usual but the icons (the floating things) still stay even when you pick them up.

Many have said this, but it has a really weird FPS impact, and I tried a lot of different things, windowed and full screen, fancy and fast graphics, view distance far and tiny, adv opengl on and off, max and min FOV. In the previous version it rarely lagged, even when it created new chunks and with graphics at its maximum.

in creative mode, u cant spawn dyes

Raining inside of a cave. Part of cave (where I put the roof) it doesn't rain, but the "natural" roof of the cave rains.

i don't know if anyone noticed, but when a new world is generated, you don't necessarily spawn in sand as it used to be in pre 1.8

LAGGY AS F**K!

When in a boat on the water, and if you hit a chicken that is swimming, your boat collapses.

if u press f3 in-game an then u save to main menu, the f3 screen still there

while i was playing in creative mode i found out that when you go into fly mode you start to slide when not pressing anybuttons so when i move and let go of move up i glide and when trying to place blocks you cant hold the
right mouse button you have to click which makes me mad but im not sure if its a bug or not just thought i'd post it

I replace the original minecraft.jar with the leaked version, and all I get is a screen that says "updating minecraft" but and the loading bar doesnt move
