If what Yogscast says is true (I'm guessing it is because I'm subbed to TotalBiscuit, who has been affiliated with the group, and he said that they're nice), then Notch can go **** himself in the ass. He's just another pretentious indie dev who thinks he can act how he wants because he somehow made it big. Without people like Seananners and Yogscast who covered the game in its alpha and beta stages respectfully, Minecraft wouldn't have made it CLOSE to where it is now. And this is how he repays Yogscast? By making up ****? I don't care how drunk you were. You still ruined their reputation that will most likely never be fully recovered. I'm glad I pirated Minecraft.
Also, I'm not a Yogscast fan at all. But what Notch did was wrong, plain and simple, if this is true.

I am SO glad they handeled this like mature adults. I am glad this got resolved so quickly. This was most likely the most...INTERESTING (some cases scary) debate of the minecraft year.
That's a completely valid complaint. But it's a little weird that IGN would just concede rights that they had bought and paid for.
No it's not, Mojang sold a third party's streaming rights to IGN without telling them, IGN probably took one look at the situation and saw potential legal trouble so allowed Yogscast to upload their videos. So really, Mojang could have easily put both Yogscast and IGN in legal jeopardy.
LOL at all the mindless rage in these comments. While Notch and Yogscast were able to put this behind them, it looks like a majority of the fans can't, so we won't be hearing the end of it for a while now.
lol, so in the end yogcast asked for money, fbomb'd a kid, and everyone is jumping on notch for calling them out on it? for shame crafters, for shame.
even if they were "just joking around" they still fbomb'd a kid, you can even tell they did it if you read between the lines in their response. I'm guessing they were probably the only ones that asked for mojang to "give them support" as they put it as well.
personally I don't really know how legal issues go down, but selling someone elses stuff is not cool, but then again, I'm pretty sure mojang owns all rights to it's own game correct, even user published content correct?
Personally I think IGN knows when to spot troublemakers, and with yog's half-baked apology, I'd say they would probably sue IGN/Mojang, they seem like the type to pull **** like that.
And lastly, to yogcast specifically.

Yogscast does seem a bit cocky at times, but I think that Notch severely misinterpreted this entire thing. I'm sure it was all just due to stress and nothing more.
We spent a huge amount of money on flights, rooms, food and equipment for the 10 people that we brought along to support us, act as security, make videos/posts and generally help out.
I'm glad it's over. Some might argue that it's not over, but it is. Both Notch and Yogscast want to put it behind them, so let them. If both sides of the argument try to drop the argument, it's over.
Really, it was just a misunderstanding. People are fallible, even people like Notch, Hannah, Simon, and Lewis. We should just let it go. Even celebrities do stupid things sometimes. That's about it. Really, they should be glad they got to see each other. I guess they are, but seriously, people. Let it go. Everyone's fallible, celebrities just get more flak for their mistakes than other people.
They never F-bombed a kid,in fact, they never did any of that.Notch was in stress so I'm pretty sure he accidently wrote that, because of a deadmau party or something?I'm not sure of all this, but I'm sure they never did that.
Yogscast aren't proud, they think they suck at games some times, and admit it. They don't say "Oh well I never place torches right next to each other!" or "Were the best Minecraft players", and if they did they would most likely be sarcastic comments. Notch needs to actually sound like he's sorry, and not say it just so yogscast fans will get off his back, and here is what Mojang said in a tweet:
We found it hard working with Yogscast, but we regret that this was aired publicly. We will now sort this out with them directly.
Notch did not apologize for his earlier comments, he apologized for bringing them online before talking to the Yogscast. He never said ANYTHING about being sorry for saying that.
I do not approve of Notch and will most likely never buy anything from Mojang again, unless Notch had nothing to do with it.

Don't wanna drag this out any further; i'd just suggest to check his twitter again, especially the "lying for popularity" part. I hope he is joking, becouse otherwise i'll loose a lot of respect for him.
Eh... Why are you guys taking this so seriously. It doesn't matter! In fact to whoever is new here, if you can stomach this website for 5 minutes then you have a life!
Also, I'm not a Yogscast fan at all. But what Notch did was wrong, plain and simple, if this is true.
