Daniel Kaplan has revealed a teaser image for the upcoming Pocket Edition update! The image reveals an interface similar to what MCX360 is expected to use for crafting, albeit more compact for touch-screens. When is the update, you ask? Soon - very soon. The image above isn't expected to be the final rendition of the menu, nor the sole update for the game; even so, it heralds exciting things for pocket-sized crafting.

Guhhh... more on this horrid, watered-down version of Minecraft. Minecraft on anything but PC is far too limiting to be of interest to about 95% of PC gamers. There must be more news or at least digital diamonds to show rather than this... Does Pasidon want to hear about the watered down version of games? Not really... no...
I disagree. If you have ever played this game on a phone capable of it (Most Androids and iPhones) then you will know the awesome potential that MC Pocket Edition has. The game is already pretty fun with it's limited features, so I assume when a crafting system is added, it will be 100% awesomesauce.exe. I do understand that the game is not going to be as fully functioned as the PC version but it's not supposed to be a substitute. It's supposed to be a fun time waster if your on the go or somewhere that you may not be able to access a PC.
In short words MC Pocket edition = not as good as the PC version, but still very fun.
I'm not completely understanding the crafting system on the picture. Do you just have to have enough materials the click a button to just go "poof!" and the item is crafted?
This new crafting system looks very great and easy to use! I can't wait til it comes out! Oh, And I wish you could make a PC kind of crafting like this.. I am a little lazy on some games to just mine through... Getting my resources by hand.. Crafting everything on a Crafting Table... yeah.. Just for beginners. I am basically a little new at this.

Also, I BARELY EVEN USE SURVIVAL MODE. I used it about 10 times.. and I don't get the point.
Playing Pocket Edition is a bit like reliving the early history of Minecraft that I've read about on the Minecraft wiki. I'm happy that it'll have crafting soon.
I know there's a lot of haters out there who think it's pathetic and a 'watered down' version of minecraft, but chill out. It has more than classic and, my big point, means I can play with my friends on a server even though my computer is pathetic.

I agree the classic online can't beat MC pocket edition

Relaxe, they will probably add those later. :/
Anyway, love the new Crafting GUI.
