- They sometimes will go too long before chasing zombies (Spawned a bunch next to one, waited 30 seconds before he did anything but wander)
- Sometimes will randomly "go idle" with zombies around (Killed one zombie, then just stood completely motionless)
- Don't detect zombies that aren't nearby
I'd prefer a fighting villager, but this will do. Funny how they also have a squidward nose. And so, it seens underground light has been fixed. And the end generation?
I don't care what others think, the new mob is awesome!
It would be cool if you could tame them or something. Or maybe not. It could be hard to try to control it, and that could be fun.
EDIT: Movement is cool, for what it is. Maybe have its attack actually grab the zombie, the zombie can't move, he lifts it up and throws it. That would be awesome.
Is it just me, or is Minecraft becoming Battlecraft? Yes, it's nice to have something to build against, and almost nobody will tell you that having villages to protect is a bad thing; but I seriously haven't seen much official attention to the actual mining basics of the game.
Um seems like the mining basics are pretty done to me. I do not think this game needs a proliferation of ores. We have sufficient ores, tools, and even enchantments to help with mining. So, what else do we need?
The spelunking aspect of the game has been enhanced by the improved mob AI.
The building aspect has been improved by the new things to build - redstone lamps ftw!
The exploration aspect of the game was supposed to be improved by adding villages, but without much going on there it didn't add to the game like it should. They needed some love. I'm glad they're getting it (although I kinda like the feel of my 1.8-generated abandoned village).
And they should get multiplayer working smoothly first.
Since when is multiplayer not smooth? It's only not smooth if you have either a terrible computer or a terrible internet connection and thus are super laggy.

The snapshots going into 1.2 are great.
I can't wait for my birthday so I can buy MC and play with those golems myself! :smile.gif:
