Wow there are a lot of formatting mistakes in this thread...anyway...I think Minecraft should come to iPhone first...there are a lot more people on iPhone than Xperia Play.
For people saying iOS should have been first, you have no clue how development works apparently. Being that Android is already deeply integrated with Java, a port is a cakewalk. In fact, it's already been done. Someone already made a renderer that will load up any world save and you can roam around and see it all as a proof of concept. http://code.google.com/p/minedroid/Then logically, they release it first on a phone with actual gaming capabilty- the Xperia Play. If that works out they can port it to a tiny screened iOS device. Or likely the ipad first.
For all the people QQing "aw why no iphone app" minecraft is a java game and android is based upon java so it is alot easier to port. I wounder how my Droid x2 would handle it with dual 1.2 cores

-.- the Xperia is exclusive to Verizon in the U.S. and I wouldn't buy it anyways. I got an Evo and I'm happy enough with that (although I need to root it cause it has too much bloatware... damn you sprint). At least this way they can work out all the bugs on the mobile version before it reaches my Evo.
They are on my YouTube channel. http://youtube.com/literarylogan/
