Curse.com has a fresh new user-friendly design and laser focus on online game downloads! It supports an expanded list of games and genres. In addition to add-ons, Curse.com offers custom maps, high-quality/exclusive demos, client downloads, and beta key programs. Premium users will greatly benefit from their faster download speeds as file sizes for demos and game clients are much larger than add-ons. Check out the new Curse.com and download everything you need for a superior online game experience!
Note also the all-new, Minecraft-specific features for SMP plugins! In addition to support for great plugins like Bukkit, we will be opening the system to include SSP client-side mods as well - search for mods by type, popularity and more!
That minecon sweepstakes is advertised extensively on the new site, but still does not follow the no purchase necessary clause on the sweepstakes page now. I noticed they even dropped the clause from that box, thus making it even more illegal than it already is.
And what about the minecraft mod makers? At least link there adf.ly links....
All of the content generators make money when their content is on Curse.com. WoW authors are just the example we have atm as the other communities are still getting their feet wet. Minecraft authors will be making as much or more than WoW authors, but only if you guys go download their stuff.
I get barely any content on 1680x1050, 6 giant icons, a large banner and the word "News", ideally I should be seeing the news not just the heading for it!
Apart from that it should match the Ubuntu default theme nicely :smile.gif:
The idea is that those giant icons are where you click through to start browsing content, downloading addons and mods, etc. They are the focus because we know that people usually come to Curse.com to get addons and mods.
Other communities, like Minecraft, are now on the front page in a big way (these icons), so we are really giving props to the mod authors and trying to let people know that Curse supports these guys and wants to help get their content out to you the users.
We will also be adding support for other games as they come out, some are coming out very soon. (Skyrim)

Check it out!
Maybe I'll visit Curse.com a bit more now. :smile.gif:
It does have DLC - take a look!
Minecraft or no Minecraft, my imagination runs wild...
Actually, we do pay mod makers. For WoW addon authors, some have made tens of thousands of dollars from our Author Reward Points: http://www.curseforge.com/wiki/knowledge-base/store/author-reward-points/
Food for thought.
