My point is why are generic features added to Minecraft that are already implemented in other games, except that those other games do those same features far better than would be possible in Minecraft.
Development should be focused on the strong points of Minecraft rather than adding countless half-baked features that are already done much better in other games. By adding questing or raiding, Minecraft is moving in the direction WoW is.
Questing and raiding wasn't at all mentioned in this OP though so right now we don't have to worry about that.
And besides, if there was questing and raiding on minecraft, I would like that. If I'm bored of always building and building, I can go to my local townspeople and ask to see if I can do anything for them. Go underground for a chest to find a quest-only item or collect and give a certain amount of things. Hell, join a raiding party and raze another village for stuff, rewards depending on how much was looted and how many members of your party survived. That would actually make minecraft more fun in my opinion.
hey, do you think there is now the use of two hands (like in adventurecraft) since in the picture steve is holding a sword and a torch. just what i wanted to point out, but i think its very likely to be true
