Reminds me of those old box TV's, except with the wrong dimensions. Normally, the TV is wider than it is long. How long did it take you to make that? Unless you just used MCEdit for the redstone and copied the schematic over and over and over again.
"I would be more impressed if all that rock and redstone was mined instead of given."
Oh please. This is a major technological achievement and incredibly impressive. To hold to such idealistic nonsense on top of that is ludicrous. It wouldn't have many any difference at all but time. And wouldn't have made it any more impressive.
Just simply amazing, it's more than talent, to do something like this. It's beyond amazing, there's just no invented word that can explain this.People that do stuff like this should be proud, it may just be a game, but its a game that is basically like our world, as if minecraft was just a different dimension, and we can enter this dimension from out computer. To create something like this, is like winning a 1 million dollar lottery.
Notch, or his real name, Markuss Persson[Srry i dont know it TO well :3] has created the best game i've ever seen, it's as if he created a world himself, and he's the god of it.If minecraft was real, life would be amazing. No more stupid technology, just skill, wits, and the will to survive.Videos like this always inspire me greatly, im very good with redstone, and probably could make something like this, but never thought of it.But i've made up my mind.
I think i'm ready, but i believe mine will never be something amazing as this. This is the work of a Redstone master.
Kea, you are byfar, the best person that can use redstone in minecraft. 1mil and 's for you :].This was not a waste of time. This was amazing, never seen anything like it.My mind has been offically blow.
Kea, keep doing great! We all know you can, so does Notch.
Wait a minute. That guy flew over his creation after the show and some of it wasn't generated until the chunks did. Does that mean that redstone works even when part of the circuit isn't in a loaded chunk?
I thought this was impossible. I'd be overjoyed if it was fixed at some point.
I made this exact same thing, (but 64 pixels) 2 weeks ago. The wiring is identical. The memory is identical. (and it got a fair amount of views)
The technical bits aren't especially complicated for it at all and I've covered it several time. Nice video, but it's a bit too similar to what I made for me to not be skeptical.
Mad? Jealous?
Are you skeptical of all the other displays?
"The technical bits aren't especially complicated..."
Of course not. People have been making one bit (depth) displays for many decades using extremely simple parts. The accomplishment is in building such a large and long-running animation, not in the obvious building technique, which would occur to anyone who thought about how to solve the same problem.

I would think it impossible. The minecraft world is big.But to make something like this, would at least take almost the whole world.
It seems that everything that needs to be in a computer has been made.
Who wants to put them together? :3
I wouldn't even know where to begin to make something like this!
I thought this was impossible. I'd be overjoyed if it was fixed at some point.
No, but seriously. That thing is ****ing amazing!!! Great job on that, sir :smile.gif:

That is a LOT of redstone!
I challenge whoever made that to make a controllable snake game. Just like the old Nokia phones had before color screens
