Using the magic of pistons, and an extreme amount of patience, he seems to have pulled it off! As you'll see, pistons are still relatively buggy in complex creations such as this one, so the creation doesn't work quite perfectly.
We look forward to seeing the next James Bond flick in our very own Minecraft theater.

Awesomeness! If you want more reliable power given to the pistons, place a block above and below the torch that powers the pistons.
= stone (or any block) = piston (facing ---->) and = redstone torch
This effectively powers those three pistons with only a single torch (and from my experience, works consistently without bugs). Hope this helps, and again, awesome job!
I had the same issue at first with a single line being messed up. The trick was rewiring one of the columns of pistons differently than the rest (the one in the northwest, possibly due to a quirky location) and it needs to be reset each time you restart minecraft.

Still no infinite strongholds D:
I'm sorry...I read the description as "working". This does not work. In fact, this is terrible...there are MANY examples of music boxes and other things that use the same idea and work perfectly...feature one of those, not a poorly designed contraption with a designer blaming everything on "buggy pistons"...

@KarrothMelu: This won't work. When you power bottom block to turn torch off, it'll also power bottom piston, causing it not to contract.
It looks like he might have screwed up the clock for the pistons

Sorry, I should have expanded more.
=redstone and the torch is attached to the block.
A double resolution graphics pack that stays faithful to the originals.
