As many of you know, we were able to join the Curse network several months ago, and have been able grow adequately during an explosive upturn in our popularity! Curse has been growing extremely fast, just like us, and because of this; they need more help! There are several positions open for those of you who would be interested in entering into the gaming industry.
I see what you mean, and I respect your opinions. My main thought was, for example, if every McDonalds in the world advertised a job position for a job in New York City. It doesn't seem as news worthy as the Minecraft Wiki offering more language support or the release of an image of 1.8 to the community in general. I wouldn't have stated this if the 3 previous posters before me hadn't shown the same general attitude towards it. I will delete my original comment though to prevent further discussion on the matter.

That is correct, however, if McDonalds posted on their website about jobs everywhere, including New York City, would that be wrong?
That would be fine, but metaphorically speaking this is a Mcdonald's restaurant in comparison to Curse.com. I have nothing against Curse and even have fully supported their actions in the past. I just felt someone needed to state the opinions that many players seem to have towards this.
I respect and applaud your opinion, withdrawing any statements I have made on the subject. Sorry for having the courage to express feelings I felt many people had. If you're able to accept the matter of your video being bumped down a bit for a "help wanted poster" then I can too.
For the love of god people, every company that works in the technology secotr will experience downtime, it's just how it works. If they want to advertise jobs here, that's fine. If you aren't interested in a job, just move along.
Shame I can't apply, everything needs college-grade education nowadays, even the most simple jobs. Not to mention I don't live in the area to work. :sad.gif:
In general, Curse has been a very descriptive name.
WedTM has apparently been recieving enough money to keep mum about how much they suck, and even advertise one more thing that Curse hasn't
I could possibly fill 3 of the positions mentioned if I wasn't quite pleased with my job. Are you saying people like me in a slightly different situation shouldn't have seen this? Is it really clogging up your space so much that they shouldn't use the opportunity to get hundreds of thousands of views in the day or two it's going to be the first topic? My video was featured here just yesterday so if anyone should be displeased with it clogging up the frontpage it should be me, but the rational way to think is that if you want people who are in the community to work for the community then you can do with 3 ticks on the scroll-wheel.
People complain about the tiniest inconvenience and completely ignore the fact that they might give 3-4 people from the community some full-time employment, there's no excuse for how juvenile this attitude is.
Get over yourself--nobody cares about your fake degrees or your video.
Why don't you guys get some decent staff for the forums first? There's at least 50 spam/troll/garbage topics at any given time, and with a site this big, with these many people, there shouldn't be over 10.
Well Fortunately I live in California and do web designing, the thing i don't understand is why you hate curse because of one downtime recently. Before that you had no problem with them. I will think about applying because work is getting boring where I am...

Can you please explain to me what Curse has done to cause you to make this comment?
The signature restrictions are based on what the forum's admin decides, not the entire Curse network.
