I would sign my name hence this being a signature, but the keyboard prevents me. So I will just say hello. Why not check out the great gaming website I currently write for Here.
I've noticed that although these 1.7 pistons can push up to 12 blocks, they can only pull 1.
Before you even say it, yes, I know the sticky piston is only attached to one block. I mean that a sticky piston attached to a sticky piston attached to a stick piston (Etc), only one will pull back.
In an attempt to build an elevator I discovered this strange flaw. Essentially, I have four vertical sticky pistons. Using a reverse sequence circuit () you can trigger the pistons to go up in order and come down in order (Ie, the bottom one pushes up, then the second one pushes up, then third, then forth. On its way down, the top/forth one closes, the third one closes, the second one closes, then the first).
Problem is although they will close in order, they only will pull ONE block with them. This makes sense, but there really should be a logic check to see if the block its pulling is a sticky piston and pull the block stuck to it as well, and continue, up to 12 blocks in the check (Since it can push 12 blocks).
Yes pistons are amazing, but that aside I think that shears should have a stone version because you can not get iron for your first couple of nights, therefore no bed...
So, is a good thing or a bad thing that TNT can't be set off by clicking it? In some respect, I think I'll miss it, a bit. However, haven't we all placed TNT in terrible spots (like right next to whatever you're building) by mistake? Maybe, it's better we can actually avert disaster and re-collect the wrongly placed TNT. If only this update came before Sly got a little evil and set off a chain of events that ended with the desecration of the great sp00n statue at the tree house.
Sheers? What if I want some saplings (to burn in my furnace) instead? Oh.. right.. Does this mean leaves can be used as fuel as well? I think they should. Burn leaves burn! Screw you, nature.

"I don't plan to add a new dimension at the moment. It's just to performance heavy on servers, and the current dimensions need more attention before we start adding new ones." < Yeah, like biomes or actual varied terrain in the nether. Nether ruins didn't do the trick at all.
TO all those with "Outdated Server" message - that means the Multiplayer server you are trying to connect to is NOT on 1.7 yet (which is a good thing, since there are many crash issues) You will have to wait until the server owners decide to update to log into it with 1.7 Client (what you have)
As for the log in issues - minecraft.net seems to have been down a lot again - my guess - all those multi-attempting to log in, give it time.
I've been in Single player mode for a while messin with pistons- trying to replicate crashes (no success in crashing yet) However I haven't been using the DL client, but the web client, could be part of the issue.
uh... I think he said that because he had mods, which haven't updated yet, which means it is not Mojangs fault, it is just that the Modders need to update their mods.
I'm getting the same bug others are getting. I put a piston on the ground with a sand block in front of it and a pressure plate in front of that. I then connected redstone around to the piston. When I stepped on the plate, My game went to the loading screen and said "Saving chunks" then went black. Now whenever I open up that map, it just says the same thing and then loads as black. I can't play my map :sad.gif:
IMO, as cool as the new features are, I think you should go back to the old version until this is fixed. I have a feeling that a lot of people are going to end up messing up their map saves that they've worked days/weeks on. Luckily for me, this was a relatively new map I made.Others might not be so lucky though.
Cmon! I want to update!! Man....

Im wondering if anyone else has experienced this glitch or is it just me?

Does anyone agree?
then leaves won't be see-through.
Coming soon: Nintendo World Resource Pack
The textures for the sides of beds and cakes were moved down for the update and if it isn't moved down in the pack, broken beds and cakes.
