Nether portals - we all know what they look like, what they do, even that odd sound they make. Nothing special, right?
One thing about them that has always bugged me is, not being able to see through them, to see what is on the other side. In a manner of speaking, the Magic Portal does exactly this! On a strict technicality, it isn't actually seeing the nether on the other side, but SethBling explains it fairly well in the video above. Enjoy!

To me this isn't cool at all the mod version of this was much much better.
Well it's not really that it's cool, but cool that this is possible in vanilla without mods. A mod version of this would be much better as it's adding thing to the game that doesn't exist in vanilla.
