My wife just loaded up the game and there was an update. I can't find anything on this forum, or from 4J's twitter feed. Anyone know anything?

I just received it as well with no info anywhere about it...I wonder why nobody is mentioning it lol

Has it always said Microsoft studios when loading up or was that the update

It's always said Microsoft Studios and 4J just stated on twitter that it was a small update to fix the bug where chunks weren't loading properly. Also that a bigger update will be underway soon. Not sure when as they didn't specify a time or date but soon is soon I guess lol

My chunk loading is worse it seems

The new update was a small bug fix they r still going to release the big bug fix.

Pretty sure it was just a bug fix for some sounds and some loading and saving issues that would cause materials in chests to despawn. But sadly it didn't fix the map glitch!

Has anyone seen a list of what was fixed in the Sept 17 patch? I'd like to know a solid yes/no if the empty chest bug is fixed. I'm rather afraid to explore too much until it is. Some release notes would be nice, even if it was just for minor fixes. Am I missing this somewhere?

To answer my own question, this is from 4J's twitter feed from the day before the update:

The #MinecraftXbox1 update appearing now is a small fix for some stats issues and for the bug causing black holes in the worlds.

Posted near the same time:

There's a bigger #MinecraftXbox1 and #MinecraftPS4 bug fix update underway to fix the other issues people have been finding.

I certainly hope the empty chest bug is top priority.
