Really need it, the biomes themselves seem to have decreased in size after TU31, that's really disappointing, and the world generation is not like 1.7 PC version (bearing in mind that we are after in 1.8.8, that's after 1.7, It should include it).
It's not like the PC version because the world size isn't enough, and the XB1/PS4 versions too.
Waiting for Minecraft Realms so we can FINALLY have Infinite worlds!!
I'm pretty sure realms has been out for a long time, although I don't know what reams has to do with bigger worlds (you'll never get infinite. Not even PC has infinite worlds).
There's a reason current gen have bigger worlds and oldgen doesn't; because our consoles can't really handle it with how it does chunk loading.
No, Realms is out for PC long time ago, I mean the Realms for consoles, even 4J studios themselves said it, they said that's the one way we can have infinite worlds on consoles, It's by Dedicated servers. So I'm just waiting for it, Instead of the console handling it, It's just by servers, that's It.
Nothing is infinite, especially when it comes to computers and such. There will always be a cap on how large something is The 360 would not be able to handle anything much larger than what is on there already, I have brought this up before and more tech savvy people have explained why its not possible.
Considering you made this suggestion just 5 days ago in the Small Suggestions Thread and then made it again in the Xbox One section... +5 for persistence, -5 for audacity, +1 for at least saying please this time.
I know from past discussions that you like to explore and that you want larger worlds. I'm sure 4J knows it too by now. However, I don't think that spamming the forums with requests, is really going to get you anywhere with this.

Yeah I knew you were gonna reply, I like your posts.
I know that wouldn't get me anywhere when I was about to post this thread, since 4J don't interact with us like Mojang. But I thought they might take a look at this thread maybe?
But with this update that was released today, It's already maxing out my world. Don't want to start new worlds, but it is what it is...
I would like to see bigger world's too, the new biomes prevent a lot of useful things like villages but it also changes how you gather materials which means the 360 gamers need to find a new way to play. If a cap is needed I think double would be enough, but I'm not too familiar with the programming necessary for changing how a game loads, it would probably take a lot of rewriting. I would love to see larger world's though.

Try tweeting 4J about this because Minecraft console editions really need it, because it pisses me off when I see the pocket edition have infinite worlds while we're struggling with this problem. Demand better ,people! I hope 4J can see this....

I don't think "infinite" necessarily equals "better." To me, better would be if they would give the player the ability to select which biomes they want in their world and in what rough proportions they want them as they create a world. For example, "infinite" destroys all the "survival Island" games because the players can just walk farther to find trees, etc. if the world is infinite. I also like to keep individual worlds on a single theme... infinite worlds tend to be come a hodgepodge of scattered different themes. You say you like to explore... but the reality is that you just don't want to do it without being able to take along all your diamond armor and goodies from before. I STILL can explore "infinitely" different worlds. I can still experience all the new stuff with each update just by creating those "infinitely" different worlds... and I have the excitement of having to explore each of them "naked and afraid" each time... it's more fun!
If we go to "infinite" worlds, the mob cap limits and that would still have to be in place or we'd have unmanageable lag... so, you'd have an "inifnite" world restricted to "40 villagers" or "16 chickens" in total? Where's the fun in that?
There's a real opportunity for 4J to make the console edition better in a way that makes it unique from the PC... and then players could truly "explore" a different gaming experience... rather than just making it an exact carbon copy of the PC... and, in the case of the Xbox 360... on an old, obsolete piece of hardware to boot. Wanting "infinite" worlds on the Xbox 360 (and harping on it for 3 years) isn't in the true spirit of exploration (i.e. experiencing something new and different and opening one's mind to NEW possibilities). It's about just wanting exactly the same as everyone else already has and what, through their experience, you're already familiar with and comfortable with. It's about keeping your "security blankets (i.e. diamond armor and such)... and that's boring, boring, boring.

Infinite doesn't mean better? Then why does the PC versions have it? And why did Mojang update the PE to have infinite worlds? And lots of people didn't like the console editions because of that.
I know there are some people that want to play with limited worlds, then why not have Classic Small Medium Large and Infinite? See? That would work! But I'm just gonna give up and know that 4J will not add infinite worlds, Good bye, they don't hear us...

Nicely put.. +1
But considering your argument states "pocket hat it", doesn't mean 360 can handle it. Most if not all phones on the market are infinitely more powerful than the 360, with even the Samsung Galaxy S3 having 1.5 GB of ram, and that is considered an antique by cellphone standards... It can't be done. As for Xbox One, I believe there is other factors keeping the size down... Possibly memory restrictions imposed by MS, or even waiting to get Realms money.

What I said was that "infinite doesn't NECESSARILY mean better." The difference is that I'm saying effectively... not better all the time. IF there were a way to incorporate both limited and infinite worlds on a system as small as the Xbox 360, hey... I'd be all for it. I like choices... the more available the better. Make it so I can request to generate specific biome combo worlds, and I'll be in heaven.
Just switching to infinite though takes away the ability to generate limited worlds. Copying the PC isn't, IMO, the ultimate answer here. I'm hoping 4J can come up with something really BETTER (and that Mojang allows the difference to exist between the console and the PC - i.e. a console exclusive world generation system).

This topic/idea has been posted multiple times on the forums, and it has been a general consensus that XBOX 360 just cannot support "infinite worlds".
I don't know If 4J read these suggestion forums, but my question is: Will the console versions ever get Unlimited worlds (I know It's not 'Unlimited') like PC and the Pocket Edition? I hope someone from 4J responds to that!
Maybe when Minecraft Realms comes to consoles, hosting dedicated servers for making unlimited worlds maybe??
Well, technically speaking, even PC is limited...
Quote from minecraft.gamepedia.net/the_overworld:
While the map is infinite, the number of blocks the player may walk on is limited. The map contains a world border at +/- 29,999,984 x/z.
Thats quite a lot of blocks to play in PC, but that's probably factoring in that you'd have a suped-up gaming PC to handle it. Consoles like PS and XBOX are not built like a PC. While the XBOne can handle larger worlds, they are still far from infinite, or as large as PC. I just don't see it happening.
To put it in better perspective:
Quote from minecraft.gamepedia.net/console_edition
Each world is limited to 864×864 blocks. Because the outer-most block is unusable on each side of the map, it is effectively 862×862 blocks that can be used. The Xbox One Edition and PlayStation 4 Edition's worlds can be up to 2500×2500. It is expected, but unknown if the world size will be increased along with the updates that will bring the Console Edition up to date with the PC version. The PC uses virtual memory which allows to swap chunks in and out of memory, drastically increasing the size of the map. Since not all Xbox 360s and PS3s (some PAL region PS3s shipped with only 12GBs of internal flash memory) ship with hard drives, these two consoles support limited worlds only.
