With the new mashup pack, I saw the new painting options available with the pack. I fiddled around with Minecraft on PC and know that there was a way to add more wall painting options than was standard. I'm wondering if it may be possible in the future to be able to buy a single pack of say... a dozen new wall paintings to add more options to our current selection. This way we'll have the original options... plus the dozen or so more with the new wall painting pack... and any more packs we purchase in the future.
You purchase the ME3 painting pack and you can use both the standard plus the computer display paintings currently available on the ME3 Mash-up.
I have purchased the ME pack. When I have the ME pack loaded, I only get ME pack paintings. When I then load the world without the ME pack selected, I only get the regular paintings. Any ME paintings I put up while the pack was loaded convert to vanilla images and any new ones I try to hang are the vanilla ones. Would you please describe how you are managing to get the ME pack paintings to display in a non-ME loaded world?
BTW, I think having additional paintings available would be a very nice touch.

Why don't you suggest the option to toggle through paintings which would include the purchase texture pack / mash up pack pictures. Regardless of what texture your playing on.
This would be interesting, I for one would love more 'Minecraft' themed paintings, like of creepers, caves, a sunset, squids in the ocean, mining, and maybe Herobrine as an easter egg xP

This is purplemushroomz suggestion thread... and I am supporting it. I understood him to be saying that he could already access the ME pictures in a world loaded in vanilla and access the regular picutres in a world loaded in ME. I can't see to do that, so I was just asking how that was done. If I misread the OP, I apologize.
Maybe.. new paintings already come with Mash up packs but if you want to keep the default pack and just have some new painting then i guess this would be usefull, I personally would buy a Painting pack but only if it is Cheap

I said ME Painting Pack, not ME Mash Up Pack. I know you will go back to default if you change the pack. My suggestion is about purchasing painting packs which add to the current default painting set. Thus giving us more variety and would allow us to have a default texture world... and have a computer room like one that is possible in the ME Mash Up... or maybe build an Arcade with images of video game characters from a video game picture pack... all while still using default paintings in other parts of your world.

Please refer to my second post. I have apologized already for misreading your first post.
I feel that this will be unsuccessful money wise. I don't think many people want to pay money just to receive a few more paintings. If 4J did decide to change something with paintings, I'd prefer if they made it so you could toggle through and select the exact painting you want.
I'd pay $1 for 20-25 new paintings in a pack. As long as there were some good/useful paintings in each. As it is, we are extremely limited in our choices, especially for some specific sizes.
So let's say these are the standard paintings...
