So far as I can tell this bug is activated when deleting a world. This will cause the most recently saved world to delete
instead of the selected world so always load the world to be deleted and save first before attempting to delete.

Yikes...so always exit and save, even if the world is about to go bye-bye. I hope that this gets fixed soon.

likewise. I've seen quite a few people already experiencing this bug for the first time. Often it's their most prized world
that gets thrown in the bucket and I can say from personal experience that it made my heart sink when I saw my
favorite world gone.
i heard humor on this on a fan page of minecraft, meaning we dont delete our worlds and wait until they get fix?and good solution for this is to always save the game before leaving it but dont delete any world!
