I know it doesn't exist on the PC so it's not likely either, but it ties in to the first: an empty bookshelf. Built in pretty much the same way as the normal bookshelf, only minus the books, and it has the option to be filled with between 4 and 8 books that the player can edit. Left-clicking on it will open an inventory showing the current books within it, and it will show the number of books already stored there when not looking at the GUI.
Yeah... but until then, there's a way to exploit a glitch to make a bookshelf that can store items (like books).
Set a block (dirt or something else) where you want the shelf, put a track on the block and a minecart with chest on the track.
Break the block so that the minecart with chest falls into the space where you want the bookshelf and the track under it break out.
Setup a piston and bookshelf block directly above the minecart and use the piston to push the bookshelf on top of the minecart with chest.
The minecart may be sticking a little out at this time and you may have to 'push at the edges to try and hide the minecart more fully within the bookshelf, (be careful to not knock the minecart out, otherwise you'll have to start over).
Once properly hidden, you can right click on the bookshelf to access the chest in the minecart, thus creating the effect of having a bookshelf with storage.
The only reason I can think of for not adding the book/quill is maybe because the object stores information
Any chance that the 360 version will get new music? I heard some in the PS3 version.
I like the ender egg to have some use.like baby dragons.
In the next update,TU25, i would like to see stained glass and slime blocks and armor stands. This is SO MUCH needed for my redstone world.

We already have daylight sensors, if thats what you were referring to.
^^^^ Click it! You know you want to...
...and stained glass is likely as the back end code for it is already there.
